Hey, Junior. While McChrystal may have "deserved any reprimand he received", you NEVER EVER EVER reprimand in public. Even the newest, greenest, most newbie boss understands that. It's taught in management 101. Obama has HAD months to figure this out. He's been in office for TEN months. Wasn't it imporant enough over the past 10 months to have put some thought into it? Amen, Jones! I as a hardcore Dem agree with you that that a-hole McChrystal—who thinks he’s all that just because he’s on the ground and not in some ACed office in DC—needs to be rebuked! I would go further and bitch-slap uppity McChrystal. Way to represent Obama, Gen. Jones: Tell a$$hole soldiers like McChrystal that they TAKE ORDERS from Obama, not the other way around. McChrystal showed what a dumb f*ck he is by appearing to be a warmongering pig like Bush and BETRAYus were, what with how his "tactics" only involve increasing US soldiers with the intent of killing all Moslems in Afghanistan and calling it a "surge." Jones is right since he represents the sophisticated, thinking arm of foreign policy that’s found in the Obama WH. Jones and Obama know more troops won’t solve anything. You have to befriend the Taliban, give them lots of jobs and benefits, show how much you revere Islam, and agree to give up some power to them. The carrot works better than the stick.
