 He says on his way to the bank to cash his government check. :kisswink:
I am still lost when you say cashing a government check that was earned (are you saying all government employees = socialism) is the same as cashing a government check simply given to you for doing nothing but breathing (i.e. welfare, health care, corporate subsidies, etc) which I do equate to socialism...

Because thats not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is that earned or not, cashing a government check is relying on socialism; Uncle Sam provides.

Besides, the poor aren't being paid off without some benefit accruing to the business community, i.e., if unemployment gets too low wages get driven up and then the Republicans start wanting to bring in illegal aliens to work cheap. Just one of those quirks of capitalism that seems to be forever be getting glossed over if it's acknowledged at all..
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

Just so I understand you...if someone works for the government and accepts payent for that work, that equates to socialism???

Cleets, that ain't true. You sound liek a Conk there.

While politicians strut and pose and lie on the national stage, hundreds of thuosands of anonymous minions keep this country running and do a damned good (and thankless) job in the process, no matter what party is in power.

I don't believe it equates to socialism all by itself, but I wouldn't call it free-market capitalism either. Would you?
