UMass is prepping for tomorrow nights NIT semi-final match with the Florida Gators, last year's NCAA Champion.
UMass got the the semis by easily handling Stephen F. Austin...topping Akron...and coming back from down 22 to defeat Syracuse...
Tomorrow's match with the Gators starts at 7pm EDT and is on ESPN...

UMass comes back again...after being down by 9 at the half...to stomp the Gators 78-66
Once again, the Minutemen kicked up the speed from fast in the first half to Mach 1 in the second half...
They simply ran the Gators off the court...
Next up in the Final on Thursday is the winner of Ohio State-Ole Miss...

I was laughing last week about the possibility of a 2007 NCAA rematch in the 2008 NIT finals. I guess that's not going to happen now. Good riddance to the guy who screwed the Magic.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
