Ladies and gentlemen, I am happy to report that the world famous GWOP (that's Grand Wall of Piss for the uninitiated) in Newark, DE has been photographed. I am waiting for the proofs to come back from the lab, but hope to have a photograph posted soon. Stay tuned.

No joke, that is one of their bathrooms, they do have plenty of porta-johns but they must have run out and decided to build..well I don't even know what that is called.

I almost took a picture last week...just too many people using the Wall at the time, so I decided not to piss off (pun intended) anyone...

But it is the nicest piss wall I have ever used...

That is just a taste of what your fans and players will be experiencing. Their field is an absolute pasture, be ready to play on the slowest track in the MVC. Wear boots as well, their tailgating lot is a mud pit.

As I was telling you under the West Stands, I followed the UMass band as they were making their grand entrance and quickly slipped into the men's room while it was unattended and snapped a pic. As I was doing so, a flood of gents were filing in behind me. I heard someone say "What the fuck?" and I turned around and said "Don't ask." and everyone seemed cool.

The rare combination:

Marble
Cascading water
No dirty handle to touch
Quick entry/exit
Ambiance
State of the art (as of 1954) lighting and ventilation
History & tradition
Intangibles
Has been pissed on by tycoons of industry, hall of fame coaches, the Vice President of the US, and Col Hogan

Sigh....yes their not pretty, but these were temporary ones set up for the Bison tailgate area. Our normal bathrooms are like the ODU ones pictured. Yes there are porta-johns behind the east side bleachers. It is what it is. The tailgate area is grass, and there was a ton of rain. Hence, mud. Duh. Perhaps the Bison have forgotton what the outdoors are like? Good lord if its got natural grass, it MUST be a pasture. They seem to forget that the field looked how it did after two weeks of pretty steady rain. God this crap gets old from the goddamn whiners from up north. Typical Bison fans, get their butts handed to them, get pissy, and start trashing our fans, facilities, and town. It gets really old. :ohno:

PS. For the record, its rumored that they are looking at Field Turf for the field in something like two years, and have architects drawing up some stadium plans right now. Give us time, we're getting there :thumb:

I know what a shithole CAS is. I grew up in NW Iowa and know all about SDSU...hell everyone from my HS goes to University of Sioux Falls or South Dakota State. I've been too SDSU before, saw the length of their grass and the condition it was in and asked a buddy of mine "Is that the ptractice field? He replied with "Nope, that is the game field....and before you ask nope it isn't looking like shit because it is the off season, that is the best I've saw it looking in quite a while."

Somebody should add that to the Delaware section of the Stadium Directory.

Ingenious design. Makes so much sense.

I remember when Foreman Field had a piss wall when Field Hockey/Lacrosse played there. ODU should've just saved the money and went the Delaware route. Sometimes the best designs are the simplest.

As a fan who visited the old Vet frequently for Eagle's games.........every drain point in the upper level bathrooms were fully utilized by that fanbase....urinals, sinks, drains, doorways, whatever.........the absolute breakdown of society. Oh, and they were always unisex, as the drunk chicks would always prefer the easier access of the pissing purgatory versus the longer lines of the squatting bearded clam gardens.

Impressive! Now, was that built with federal stimulus money or private donations?

I like the fact that aim accuracy is a non-factor. The only thing missing is the ability to superimpose your opponents logo on the wall every game.
