And then Back to Back 5-2 victories Saturday and Sunday. VERY nice sweep of the Rocks IN Colorado. Gotta get that bad taste from October outa their mouths. 4-2 now, heading into a 6 game homestand....

What a great start to the season. Dbacks lead the league in runs, home runs, ERA, etc., etc., etc. The team is dynamic and fun to watch. The coolest thing of all is there are VERY few players that didn't come up through our system. Reynolds is a monster, Upton has the most raw talent I've seen in 20 years, Drew is primed for a terrific year, and the Webb-Haren-Owings combo (with Johnson joining next week) is a KILLER for other teams. They've mowed through two of the supposed contenders by winning six straight (and with relative ease!), and now it's 3 more against Colorado. This is gonna be a FUN season!!!

It's kinda nice though, being on a six game winning streak, and the next two games are being pitched by Webby and Haren.

I smell an EIGHT game winning streak!!!

Ahhhh.... An 8-2 victory to bring us to an 8-2 record. At this rate, the D-Backs might win 130 games!!! Webby looks unHITTABLE early in the season, and the offense came out of the gate clicking on all cylinders. Mark Grace made a comment last night that I completely agree with. When playing like this, the D-Backs would have beaten the Red Sux of last year....no doubt in my mind. They have shown early in the season that they are the team to beat in the National League. It might be tough gettin' tickets this year!!!!
