but I know there are approximately 20 million Rush listeners who believe every word he says...

frankly it's fascinating

I tried Air America for about two weeks to get an opposing view and I just couldn't follow any of the programs. I would be listening to an argument and get lost because it was all emotion. No logic. That is why Rush has listeners, and Progressive radio is so weak, because he at least can direct you down a line of reasoning and they don't.

Sometimes the amount of energy spent bickering about how each side does petty things (of which both sides are equally guilty) ..... just think of the carbon footprint....

My two year old has more maturity and common sense.

God help our politicians if middle Americans on both sides come together in the realization that most elected officials, regardless of party, are not worthy of the offices they hold.

I'm a firm believer that is their biggest fear...
If they make all of us enemies of each other (perfectly decent citizens hating other perfectly decent citizens) it keeps the focus off of the fact that lobby groups and special interest and thinly veiled bribery is the fuel that runs this machine...

We could get better leadership by randomly picking names from a phone book.

He signed a $400 Million dollar extension deal... $400 million
you don;t get that kind of money if you don't have what he's got..!!!

While I don't listen to him very often since Bubba left, I used to religiously listen to his debates with then City of Davis mayor David Rosenberg, a well educated, articulate, flaming liberal. Limbaugh routinely danced circles around Rosenberg in debate, and it was those debates that fueled his reputation and pushed him into the national market.

Conservatives don't FOLLOW Limbaugh, but his ability to frame liberal positions as preposterous attempts to derail the Framer's intent is without peer (and generally backed with fact...not venom), and what has forged the bond with his listeners.

And while you may mock Limbaugh's persona, 30 million listenership is unequaled...which is why he has become the liberal's top character assasination target...

...and why you despise him.

First this article only shows he doesn't follow facts. Second on the rare occasion I am forced to listen to his show by a co worker during a trip, he is full of hate. The guy billows BS so his listeners will stay tuned. Its all for effect.
