Here are the top 50 FCS prospects based on what I have been able to compile. Anyone missing that has had all 32 teams come look at them or one that is getting a big buzz at your school?

I have seen Herrick play though and I am not sure if he would make this list anyway because of his size. If he were 6'2 220 then I could see him being on this list but being just 6'1, 195 pounds I am not sure if NFL teams will think he is big enough to play QB.

Even if he did leave early I would not include juniors until they officially declare.

I have heard absolutely nothing about that even being a possibility for him. If NAU can reload on receivers for next year so he can keep up his production from this year, I can see him getting a shot somewhere as a FA.

Ruffin should probably be higher than the 7th round along with Howard being higher than a free agent.

Howard looks stiff so I am not sure if he will get drafted or not at this point. Ruffin is good but his 40 time (4.9) will likely hurt him.

You aren't giving Ruffin respect because of his 40 time? Ruffin is an absolute beast and isn't getting the same numbers this year because he is facing 2 lineman plus a chip on most pass plays

I am projecting players based on where I think they will go and at this point Ruffin is not that high on team boards because of a few things but his 40 time is one that will hurt him when GMs look at these guys. If he runs 4.7s at the combine it will help but I have had several league insiders tell me PFA on Ruffin. I actually have him rated higher than many teams do and the highest I have seen any team rate him is the 5th round. I have players somewhere around their average. For example, the YSU WR has a 5th round grade from some and PFA from others. There are several players with a differing range such as AE from App State who is anywhere from 4th round to PFA on boards.

WR Aaron Boyce. He's got the size and talent, but that injury might have cost him. Only time will tell.

Most scouts consider him a 4.6 guy and then with the injury that will keep him out for the rest of the season I don't see him getting drafted. Definite free agent though.

For the record, I'd like to add ODU's punter, Jonathan Plisco, to the list of potential pro prospects.

A freshman that leads the country in yards per punt at 45.9 per punt. There are NFL kickers who don't average that. Actually, of 32 NFL teams, only 10 NFL punters average more per kick that Plisco. Obviously kicking in the NFL is a much different situation and much more pressure, but that is pretty damn impressive.

In every game this season except 1, he has kicks of over 50 yards.

A long of 61 against Chowan, 52 against Va Union, 52 against Jacksonville, 60 against Monmouth, 59 against Fordham, 47 against Presbyterian, 76 freaking yards against Campbell (and it was a game changer too), and 64 against Savannah St. Did I mention he is a freshman?

Also, 76 yards would qualify as the longest punt in the NFL this season. 70 yards is the longest so far this season, achieved by Shane Lechler of the Raiders and Jon Ryan of the Falcons.

Vlad is truly a monster...last Saturday, the Boston Globe, which never covers anything UMass except in passing, did a great story on him that was three pages long on the web site...that is unheard of for a single UMass player...

6'5", 328...and for the last three years protected Liam Coen's blind side...co-captain this year...

According to the Globe, each NFL team has sent a minimum of two scouts to practices and games just to see him...the KC Director of Player personnel spent two days at UMass to watch him...

Vlad will play on Sundays....

I would think Ryan Perriloux will get drafted fairly high... unless his off the field issues keep teams away from him.

The two are not even close in terms of team boards. NFL teams have Skelton rated much higher than Randolph because of upside. He is bigger, has a stronger arm, and has a bigger upside. You are right that Randolph is the better player right now. I forgot to mention that my ratings are also based more on where they are in terms of NFL stock among teams and not solely myself.

That is why he is number one on my board. There is a shot he lands in the second round from what I am hearing. He is a current 4th round value on my personal board but his upside has some teams willing to reach into the 2nd round for him because he has loads of potential.

His issues are hurting him. Some teams did not even send a scout in to see him. I think he has solid tools but he is still inconsistent and thus I would be shocked if he was drafted. My sources are telling me 7th round to PFA on him. Some are even saying they would not touch him.

I would think that is a little low for him.

Teams draft mainly based on their senior tape and he has had an average senior season and the fact he is smaller hurts him as well. I would be surprised if he got drafted unless he does very well in the postseason.

I've been tellin' people you can't believe the stuff Plisco can pull off without actually seeing it for yourself. His hangtimes average a good 5 seconds right now for 45 yarders. I swear, and any ODU can back me up on this one, Plisco's punts are so ridiculously accurate that it's just plain scary. On multiple occasions this year, the kid punted what looked like a touchback, only have it bounce inside the 10 and literally take a 90 degree bounce to the side. His spiral is reportedly a tough one to catch too and we've seen a few of them dropped already. Obviously I haven't experienced the process of catching it, but looking at it fly, it's got this weird wobble to it when it's in the air that I've never seen before...I can't really explain it. It kinda goes up and down and side to side at same time like a boat, but it's spinning like a bullet as well. Again, you gotta just watch this kid to believe it. Honestly, ODUfanrazor is pretty spot on. This kid, AS A FRESHMAN, might legitly challenge some punters in the NFL in distance and accuracy, as well as technique. Hangtime can improve though, but he's got A LOT of time left.
