That's what I would do if I were an AD.
Well, it's probably best not to get too involved in the petty squabbling that goes on on fanboards. But it isn't a bad idea to monitor what is said. And remaining anonymous is a good way to do that.

Well, I think it would be a good idea to read message boards, but to post on them if you are in the AD, is pretty pathetic if true.

I still haven't received the e-mail giving me the OK to post at Hilltopper Haven. I don't cry over spilled milk, my homeboard is weightwatchers.com.

Been on Bobcat fans since 2005 but I slowed way down at the end of last season. TT is on our board and every time I post something he has something snide or snippy to say about it. Not just me, but it sure seems like it. That guy has nothing better to do with his day than to go to almost every SLC board and piss people off.

I couldn't even keep tabs on our QB moving up the SLC records lists without him adding his :twocents:

I mean I just wanted to post where George ends up every week and it became a battle of who is or isn't on the list or who I should or shouldn't include. It's just a little thread about what OUR QB is doing and he couldn't leave it alone. I won't even post his response to when I posted the CS poll.

I have almost reached the same number of posts on here (in 10 months) that I have there in almost 5 years.

However, my home board would be mine on my website. Unless you just mean football, then I consider this one home :D

I LOVE Monarchnation.com! A lot of excellent and logical discussions/arguments. No circle-jerking there either, because we always have disagreements. Difference is, I've NEVER encountered a poster (regular or not) that doesn't keep the argument respectful, so the threads are never unbearable. Smartest ODU discussions are the ones I've read at mn.com

CAAzone is my second home, and championshipsubdivision is my third. And then I have a fourth non-sports board I grew up with since I was 14, so the posters there are like brothers and sisters. That one is my favorite and I can't really rank it.

Harvard has no home board of its own, but the Ivy League has one that has existed since the early 2000's (I started posting there late 2003 or early 2004). I now seldom post (and even visit!) there since I can't relate to the Ivy League die-hards that post only there and nowhere else. Lately, my posts there were about how we fans can improve the quality and fan appreciation of Ivy football. Other than that, there are posts there that I can't really relate to (e.g. lacrosse, scholarship debates, etc.)
All the Ivy League needs to become relevant again is to diversify its OOC schedule.

I post on the Mountaineer Message Board, but I mostly read because there are some guys there that are pretty clued in with the athletic department at ASU. Other than that, I post here mostly.
Appalachian State Mountaineers:

National Champions: 2005, 2006, and 2007
Southern Conference Champions: 1986, 1987, 1991, 1995, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012

One of my favorites, it's from a longer post, but it shows that mister I hate HBCUs applied for jobs at Texas Southern. he doesn't post on the swacpage much any more. and interestingly enough the poster who wrote this started receiving warnings and other crap at ags after this.
Just to make matters even clearer for you, do you recall the PM you JUST RECENTLY sent me about how you believe you can truly make a difference if you were given a chance at Texas Southern? Remember that PM, well I personally told the Athletic Director to over look your resume should it ever come across his desk from Human Resources.

GoHens.net should be renamed FireKeeler.net or ILongforTubby.net.

I check it once a week or so. There's just too much anger there to really deal with on a daily basis.
