You know it's a long season...ups and downs...as long as their ups are a little more than their downs, they'll be OK...

Was at the game last night- 5th row of section 112 (just beyond first).

Max looked nervous at first, and then Drew booting the ball and allowing three unearned runs sealed his fate.

Funny story - I went to the game on a date- with a guy I met playing softball - our first meeting outside of the league. We settled into our seats and watched the first inning when a couple of guys sat in the seats directly in front of us. The guy that sat in front was already drinking, loud and obnoxious. Thinking oh great, gotta put up with this crap. Next inning, he goes and gets a beer. On the way back, I get a chance to see his face - and go "holy crap". He sits down, I tap him on the shoulder, he turns around and about spills his beer - it was an old fraternity brother that I hadn't seen in over 10 years. He was loud and obnoxious then, still is...

Byrnes finally gets on base - infield single. Steals second, scores on double by Co-Jack. Drew advances Jackson to third, but Upton can't bring him home.

Dbacks have out-hit Philly 12-4, but only lead 4-3 - too many wasted opportunities.

Victorino strikes out, but reaches on passed ball, taking out our best player, Conor Jackson, in the process. Fricking cheap-ass phillies. Next batter doubles to tie game. Jackson is out.

Utley singles, Phucking Phillies take lead.
