thinking about getting a vasectomy

Post by catamount man »

don't wanna bring children into this fucked up world. too many fucking negative influences out there. too many child butt fuckers, too many trouble kids at schools shooting up everybody, too many politicians telling parents how they should raise their kids. I want to spare any offspring of mine that headache. Anybody here had one done? A little info please fucksticks!

Even at 60 years old, I still can't get one!

Reason being: I owe it to my MANY fans, and supporters...its the least I can do at this point in my life!!

I am with you on the "thinking about getting a vasectomy" part, but after that you lose me.

I am ultra uptight and the only thing that causes me pause are my children. If you're a halfway decent father, you can easily steer them clear of issues. They really help to balance me out in a very stressful time in my life.

As for info. I was an OR tech in the Army Reserves and for my two week training one year, I got to work in same day surgery where they were performing vasectomies. No big deal. They shoot your sack up with some sort of 'cain and then isolate your vas def by hand. Clamp in place, slice open the skin and cut the vas def. Suture and you are out the door in a couple hours.

I got one this year, but after 16 yrs of marriage and jointly knowing what we'd do to the little screwup. We know we don't want kids and made the decision. You on the other hand are younger and might find someone as messed up as you to have kids, so don't do it yet. ;)

That's old school now - no suture is the way now - puncture, cut, clamp, stuff, and you're out. In my case, by a Wofford grad even......

Piece of cake - I'll recommend a surgeon, but you aren't there yet IMO.

No shit? Why haven't you mentioned that before? I've been doing that for 32 years, and I'm finally starting to understand the job!??!

Any hints you can give me would be appreciated!

I'm the opposite of uptight, but my sentiments are the same. My kids bring more joy to my life than anything I have known. If you raise them right, then you can trust that they will be all right and avoid the evils that you fear.

Loved that job! Go to work in the OR by 6am in scrubs, get to be absolutely amazed at how much trauma the body takes, and then they sew that shit back up...and it's good??!!

While humans are relatively weak on the animal scale, our ability to heal is incredible.

Hell Catamount. Just knock back some whiskey and have some mean sumbitch just bite your vas deferens in two. Pour whiskey on the bite and call it good.

I don't doubt that, as it was back in 1990.

Funny story though. After the lidocain local anesthetic, you just assume all is numb. Well after the doctor made the initial cut to the vas deferens, he needed to cauterize (bovie) the bleeder.

I heard two things. The first was the zap of the bovie cauterizing the bleeder, and the second was the patient yelling, "wwwhhHHHOOOOOWWWWW!" Guess they didn't inject enough local anesthetic.

SO DO I! That's why I'm still doing it after 32 years. I don't have to work, but I love the job too much to quit! For me its an avocation, AND a fvckin' hoot!

Side note to Cman: Should you get this done, make sure the bovie isn't set higher than 20! If it is, what you might hear will be very similar to the sound of popcorn popping! And if the Dr. is willing, ask him/her for some Versed...trust me on this one!

Was thinking about it until I got a dozen PMs from PFL and CatMom, both wanting to bear my children. Gonna talk it over with Mama Cat, but don't think she'll let me "donate".

You are kidding right? The "stuff" you are referring to is semen not sperm.

I'm 26 years old and we don't want children. I'm thinking of getting one sometime in 2010. I'm completely ignorant on the subject though. Do you still ejaculate a liquid or are you puffin are?

You'll never know the difference. There are just a lot fewer "oh shit" moments. :thumb: Your baby batter is only about 2% babymaking material, so there's really no difference. Just wait until your nuts drop before you get the surgery, Mark - exploratory isn't the way to go on this.

If more folks would take the time to look into the mirror and ask themselves "what great contribution to humanity would my genes potentially deliver" before carelessly scattering their seed around, we would have a lot less tard load on society than we now do. Of course there is the ethical questions, "would Jesus want me to cut my nuts off because I am a douche tard, or would he consider it premeditation of spermo/zygote-cide?"

These are perplexing questions, and they need to be answered. In the mean time, good thinkin' C-Man! :thumb:
