I dont want Eastern to be paired w/these teams:
Montana
Richmond
Elon
Villanova

If Eastern does get in, I wouldn't be shocked to see them on the same side of the bracket as Montana and playing each other in the quarters (like with Weber last year).

Yeah clenz that must be the case. It seems odd that they've never caught on in the last couple of decades but they haven't looked into the grades thing that TBH has professed either so it must all be good.

All I am saying is that if UM isn't selling at a least what regular season games are, which is NCAA rule, they are breaking said rule.

There is at least one rule/guideline that I believe UNI doesn't follow either when it comes to playoff arrangement.

Honestly? No. But then again, I'm a little biased . But, if the Griz were out of it and EWU was still in, I'd cheer for them.

Oh, also as far as I've ever heard the NCAA sets the price for the tickets. Is it possible that the NCAA can't come after them since they are in charge of the pricing of their own product? You work in the ticket office at UNI so does the NCAA tell you what the charge will be or does UNI set the price?

The NCAA tells us we CAN NOT sell tickets for less than the regular season games were. This caused problems last year with fans when tickets were $26 for regulars season games, and people bitched, then they had to pay $26 to see us play fucking Maine.

OK then move on to the next scenario that I laid out...that Montana is able to charge the lesser ticket price for games like Western State and so forth and still be in compliance. I'm asking you if you think that Montana has gotten away with not being in compliance for the last couple of decades as you alleged?

The regular season ticket prices are readily available to anyone with internet access (I assume the NCAA has this feature) and they certainly know what they are taking on the gate so ..

Well Clenz to end the controversy that you came up with I had beers with the Accounting Associate for Griz athletics last night and I posed the question to her for clarification on this issue. She told me that the NCAA most definitely does tell them what to charge for the tickets so either you guys are dealing with another issue or your information is incorrect.

The only thing that the ticket office can add to the price is a nominal processing fee for Credit Card purchases.

I assume that is the reason for the difference as well. I have a ticketo one week that is $25.00, another week's game is $28, 38, and one at homecoming that is 50.00. The MSU game is always $50 as well.

This year our playoff tickets are going to be $29.00. How does that compare with what you guys are charging?

$10 for youth (3-16)
$10 UNI students (I've noticed UNI always charges more for students than most other schools)

That is exactly what it was for regular season games as well. However, there is a $5 per round fee that goes on the orders...thanks to ticketswest.

The more students, the better the atmosphere (well, at least for the first half. After half, the student section empties out already).

I think $5 is the way to go too. The thought of most students at UNI is why spend $10 to go to a UNI game when I can spend money on gas to get to Cedar Rapids and back and then spend $70+ at the bars there....
