Closed circuit to Tman: The left laughs at Palin. She will destroy her dull self......by herself. She is the gift that keeps on giving to the Democrat Party. Better than contributions.

"Sarah Palin absolutely blew AWAY the audience tonight. If there was any doubt as to whether she was savvy enough, tough enough or smart enough to carry the mantle of Vice President, she put those fears to rest tonight. She took on Barack Obama DIRECTLY on every issue and exposed... She did it with warmth and humor, and came across as the every-person....it's becoming mroe and more clear that she was a genius pick for McCain."

Not to mention Newsweek used a picture that Runners World took of her without permission. Why would Newsweek use a picture of Palin in exercise clothing for a cover story about Palin in politics? A cheap shot. It's that simple.

If Sarah Palin was a donk, liberals everwhere would be outraged and would be talking about how the mean old sexist boys club in politics is afraid of thinking liberated intelligent powerful women.

Pretty much everything the MSM is putting out there on Palin is bush league crap. They have pretty much gone after everything... every member of her family along with her. They tried the affair thing, that was proven to be BS. Then they went after a supposed affair her husband was having, struck out there, too. Even Letterman with his comments about her daughter was pretty much representative of what the left is stooping to.

The thing I don't understand is why the left is so petrified about this woman. There is no way she gets the Republican nomination. Absolutely no way. By the time 2012 rolls around we are going to be in such deep fiscal kimshee that the only credible candidate for the job is going to be either Romney or possibly Ron Paul.

I don't know what's worse... the media's treatment of Palin, or their stupidity in thinking that she has a snowball's chance of getting the nomination.

The left's biggest fear is that she's an outsider whose remarks ring true to middle Americans...just like Rush. Regardless of her viability as a candidate, like the cadre of conservative journalists, bloggers, TV and radio commentators who daily pummel the left's moronic incompetence, she represents the true America: Not perfect, but morally righteous and willing to fight to preserve America's founding principles. The left, on the other hand, lost focus decades ago and has become the party of whiners and petty, mean-spirited, vindictive elitists, wandering around in a fugue-like state of confusion, whose primary approach to politics is abandonment of substantive debate replaced with slash-and-burn character assasination.

What they don't understand, is that the harder they try to destroy right-wing political figures, the more catalyzed the right becomes...along with the loss of the moderate's sympathy and support.

On that note, you must really loathe Barack Obama.

That's very true...while I think she's a kewpie wind-up doll myself, this continued effort by the likes of MSN you referenced in intial thread is relevant...creates the image of "piling on" (no pun intended...would be fun though). The media (& most of America) would be better served not fixating on Sarah Palin & just allow her rope to hang herself by allowing her to talk unfettered.....

The left's wet dream is Sarah Palin as the republican nominee.

Sarah Palin is polarizing in part because of the mindless little sheeple who listen to the committed left wing "moderates" in the mainstream press, who accept their elite status without question and cannot put themselves in a responsible OR God-fearing OR patriotic OR small-business person's OR self-made person's shoes.
So, unless we like Sarah Palin, we cannot be patriotic, god-fearing small business-supporting, and/or self-made? It's that attitude that has turned me off to idealogues like Palin, but I can't decide if it's her or her supporters attitude (like this) that turn me off the most. Perhaps it's her mindless little followers that are equally polarizing...
Pay attention. I did not say anyone has to like or be like Sarah Palin. I don't really like her myself.

I'm not, but from your statement, I was under the impression you were associating folks who don't like Palin as people who also wouldn't support those character traits listed below. Or at the very least I was inferring your belief that Palin personifies those traits, ergo, if you don't like Palin, you don't like those traits. My apologies if I read too much into your statement. It's just the sentiment I mistakenly attributed to you also happens to be shared with the majority of Palin supporters I've had the pleasure to engage in political discussions.

I'm not a coward, I'm cheap.

The wager is on the table. It's up to you to pick it up and later admit you were wrong, or you can leave it on the table and later admit that you were the coward. 8-)

Did I goat you enough?

The clip of her telling her husband's secessionist party in Alaksa what a great job they're doing will be priceless.
