Liberal Cap'n Cat Confesses To Losing His Obama "Mojo"

Post by Cap'n Cat »

Still waiting for him to be the strong leader we wanted thim to be. Expected a decision to get out of the wars by now, for example. Expected much more and not digging him letting Conks push him around. Too much same-old stuff.

Hoping he picks up his game soon.

I vaguely remember around 47% of the population saying that about him

I'll say you started it though whenever it's brought up

at least he didn't need to have the supreme court step in and seat him because a majority of the population wanted the other guy.

Joe Biden agreed with you. Right up to the point where he offered him the VP slot.

Another liberal mugged by reality! Barry should change his middle name to "Hamlet," what with all the self-absorbed dithering and pious indecision! He's a callow youth in way over his head, surrounded by Europhile morons.

Me, too, Cap. With only a bit more dedication to his lunatic base, he could further alienate the kids and independents who elected him and push his already slipping poll numbers to historically abysmal new lows.

Yeah, change appears to have been little more than a slogan. Although I didn't vote for him, I was hoping for something different (specifically ending the wars, closing Gitmo, and ending DADT). Unfortunately, none of that has happened. It is so hard not to be apathetic with the two parties controlling everything and changing nothing.

HA! He would never make Afghanistan or Iraq a "Vietnam" by pulling out. I, for one, hope he lives up to his ex pectations.

Meanwhile, something tells me that 35,000 to 40,000 Marines are getting ready to be deployed. It might be water cooler talk and the daily interaction with MARCORSYSCOM, but we're going in there, pushing our numbers to over 100,000 soilders and Marines. We'll go in the middle, and begin to head North (because we headed South last time).

Do you really want to claim a bunch of people that don't know how to follow the box and vote correctly? The ballot was not THAT confusing.

I'm not saying at all that people were not able to vote correctly. It is a fact that more Americans wanted Gore than Bush, and the Supreme Court had to step in and seat Bush. At the time, it was probably the right thing to do as the country needed closure, it needed to be over.
