I'm gonna be honest. I never though 9/11 and Iraq were related so the time frame they came up with that shitty idea really doesn't bother me in the least.

I never did either. The part that bothered me is that it was nothing more then Bush hating the guy. We were told it was WMDs, then terrorists, then liberating the Iraqi people. The motivation behind the war change so many times I lost track.

That happens a lot. First Lincoln was fighting the south because they couldn't secede from the Union. The problem then came that the Union was losing more and more battles until 1863 when it became about slavery.

IMHO, wars (for the most part) and fought for economic reasons and reasoned with ideaology.

True, yet the defenders of the war still insist it was a good idea...

There have been very few "defenders" of the war. My position has always been the same: Fucking up by going IN doesn't mean it's ok to exacerbate that mistake by pulling troops OUT until the country WE destabilized is somewhat stable again.
