Palin is a political lightweight. She looks good, but there is no substance. I voted for McCain, but I wasn't happy that he chose her as a running mate.

No way she'll ever be President, let alone the best President ever.
Agreed. That's why I cannot understand the hysterical obsession over her by the left.

Probably because if the left appears to be hysterically obsessed with her jabbering half-wittedness the wack jobs will feel compelled to nominate her. As a Presidential candidate she'd be the left's wet dream. The clips of her praising the Alaska Party alone would be priceless.

What?!? A guy who asks a nutjob who can't keep his mouth shut (OK, he's not QUITE as bad as Gore) to be his veep and runs up the biggest deficit in history turning us into the USSR II, promising all the while that we're REALLY balancing the budget? A guy like that is "kinda smart?" Man, you really ARE out in left field....

Yes, that would be great motivation for a Republican nomination. It isn't the Republican Party that elects people based on unicorns, second comings, feelings, and how the other side reacts.

The media and the Christian Taliban love palin, for which the democrats are very thankful.

If the republicans can nominate a moderate, traditional conservative Obama will be in trouble.

Nope, just this GOP woman...

What's that old saying...better to not speak and keep 'em guessing, than to speak & remove all doubt.....

Sarah needed a strong pimp hand to shut her mouf and make her seem intelligent; now it's too late.

In know, I was kidding. U.S. christians for the most part are far more evolved than the Taliban and don't enjoy a theocracy that looks the other way.

Hogwash. There are INDIVIDUAL rogues out there that do this. But to whitewash all Christians out there in this manner is irresponsible in the highest degree. Murder is murder, whether the victim be the innocent child who dies in that ghastly procedure or the criminal who does it. Two wrongs do NOT make a right.

There are thousands upon thousands who applaud the murder of clinic doctors... even on this forum there are a few - not so rare as you might like us to believe - true there are only a few who would actually pull the trigger, there are HUGE numbers who secretly thinks that's justice or "Right"

Denial of the blatantly obvious does not help your argument...

Religious Fundamentalism (be it Christian or Muslim) exhibits the exact same performance characteristics

 Christians have recently excelled at not seeing the connection between Islam and Christianity in that regard

Christians do not throw acid on schoolgirls' faces like muslims do.

Christians do not fly airliners filled with innocent victims into the skyscrapers filled with more innocent victims, like muslims do.

Your vilification of Muslims and exaltation of Christians is comical... I'm not attacking YOU
History has shown us over and over and over that the Fundamental fringe of any and all religions are capable of the worlds most insane atrocities - all done in the name of their belief system whatever it's name might be...

I don't see why that's so difficult to deal with for American Christians... I'm not suggesting that Christianity is bad, not even close...

I'm simply suggesting that Fundamentalism in all it's religious forms is pretty much the same thing... and it doesn't require anything more than an honest observation to see that - it's not good or bad - it just is.
