When I was talking about the conference, as a whole, yes I was. Aren't you a soccer fan? Shouldn't you realize that sports goes past college football? UNI has half the conference titles in football, won the conference regular season and post season in men's basketball last year, track and field, wrestling (not a MVC conference but would dominate if it was), got 38 of 39 first place votes for basketball again this year, the volleyball team is ranked in the top 20 and hasn't lost a conference match all year...hell hasn't lost since the 4th match (or somewhere there of) of the season.

The big sky is a mediocre league at best and didn't deserve 3 teams. Montana shouldn't have been the #1 seed.

SDSU runs a old school big 10 offense and Montana gave up 48 points? wtf.

My prediction that all BSC teams would be out in the first two rounds almost came true in the first round.


That said, excellent comeback for Montana. Down 21 points in the second half. Thats a great effort to keep fighting.

I didn't read the whole thread; just wanted to congratulate the Griz and fans on a great comeback. That SDSU team was pretty darned good and you guys could have called it a day when it was 41-14. Great resolve.

At 41-14 SDSU had a 2 yard drive, an 11 yard drive and a blocked punt for a TD. It wasn't like the SDSU offense was lighting up the scoreboard. Really should have been 20-7 at that point, no reason to panic and the Griz didn't. They imposed their will on the 'Jacks in the second half, and especially the 4th quarter. Perhaps the greatest quarter of football ever played by the Griz.

I will humbly eat crow regarding Andrew Selle as well, Ursus.

i've been pro roper all year and still think he is the better QB, but that said, Selle performed great in the second half, but a lot of that yardage was all YAC. Mariani and Palmer would not go down. Also that catch by Pfahler on third down was clutch

I got to witness one of the greatest college football games, ever. I'm watching the Notre Damn vs Stanford game on ABC right now and they've been talking about the Griz for a few minutes. Herbstreit was basically blowing all of Montana on the comeback today. I will never forget today.

They gotta' think this game is over for the Griz, 'cause I sure did! Then, the people that are interested, get the final score, and it's 61-48 Griz!

I wonder how many times "you gotta' be shittin' me!??!, and "that can't be right!??!" were said by those that didn't get to watch/listen the game?

SDSU magically only committed two penalties in the first 45 minutes, then somehow committed 8 in the final 15. I was embarrassed FOR the referrees.

Well, Grizo, I'll tell you my story...

I was leaving Williamsburg after the W&M/Weber game, and I checked my Droid and say the score was 41-14...

We got on the highway, and drove for about a hour and I checked the score and saw the final...and almost crapped my pants...

I called Azgriz right away to make sure it was correct and find out what the hell happened...

All I can say is Congrats...
