Why don't they run the spread in the NFL full time? Because they know the QB would be dead after a couple of games.

They do run the spread in the NFL. Most of the best offenses in the NFL run variants of the spread. Saints, Colts, Patriots, etc. The college spread passing game comes from NFL West Coast passing game.

Armanti would be at home in plenty of NFL offenses:



They don't run the spread option, read option, etc. offense though. Armanti's first couple of years we were really run heavy and ran something than no NFL team would run... as his career has progressed and he's become a better passer we've run a passing game that Armanti would have no trouble adapting to.

If Armanti can overcome his lack of size he can play in the NFL. Size is his only weakness.

SIze of Armante as it relates to his ability to play in the NFL? Armante has been known to run head on into some fairly large defensive lineman and linebackers who find themselves looking up at his butt crack as he runs over them. I think Armante would do very well in the NFL playing for a team like the Miami Dolphins, who run the "Wildcat" offensive style tailor suited for Armante's game.

First, win the National Title again ,then maybe a news story to follow telling of a phone call from Wayne Huizenga and Stephen Ross.
