That's my whole problem withe Global Warming Alarmists.....their propensity to declare, from on high, this "certainty" of man-made climate change and their quick fix. Seriouslyt.....carbon credits? Just another way to separate naive white liberals from their hard-earned money while justifying their air of superiority. Is the climate changing? I think so....the biggest influence on this earth's climate (besides the sun) are the oceans and their temperatures have risen. Does man impact his environment? Of course...everything leaves a footprint....man, animal, plant. Do we fully understand our impact on the climate? Not with the limited data sets we have uncovered during the past centuries. But, we obviously should continue studying while at the same time practicing ideals of stewardship. Do we know enough to create legislation that will have meaningful impact on our climate? You gotta be fokking kidding me....been to the DMV lately?
Not familiar with their quick fix. Most I've read is it's gonna take awhile. The only quick thing is we need to start now.
Even if it "takes a while," Appy's use of the term "quick fix" to describe the proposed enviro-wacko legislation such as carbon credits appropriately captures the knee-jerk and off-target nature of the "solutions" proposed by the global warming nuts.

"Start now" to improve common sense stewardship? Sure!

"Start now" to enact enviro-wacko legislation such as carbon credits? No way!

It's seems unreal that so many "environmental policies" being enacted are founded on myth, innuendo, conjecture, faux science, and in some cases, not backed up WITH ANY EVIDENCE OF A GENUINE "PROBLEM".
What do you mean "unreal"? Sounds to me just like all the other religions.
You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by c squared. Then you energy.

UK Man Worships at Church of Climate Change
And claims his belief deserves protection just like Islam or Judaism

(Newser) – You can't force a Muslim to eat pork, or a Jew to pray to Jesus, and a UK man is claiming in court that his religious belief deserves similar protection. Climate change, that is. Tim Nicholson of Oxford is suing for religious discrimination after an employer, annoyed with his attempts to calculate the company's carbon footprint, gave him the axe. The fired man says his devout environmentalism counts as a religious belief; the company says it got rid of him for "structural" reasons.

"Belief in man-made climate change and the alleged resulting moral imperative is capable of being a philosophical belief and is therefore protected by the 2003 religion or belief regulations," the Daily Telegraph quotes the man's lawyer as saying.

Psst...hey Tim...sit over here...

Show me proof that vehicle and factory emissions pollute our air and water, and cause lung diseases (asthma, cancer, etc). Show me proof that humans need relatively clean air and water to survive.
