I agree. You have to think about it like this: Before being assigned to do the game, these ESPN guys had no clue the type of atmosphere or the level of football they were going to run into at Wash-Grizz. Even if someone told them what to expect, they wouldn't have believed it.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:It's annoying when somebody is telling you shit you already know over and over. I think that if you weren't a member of the fan boards and already knew all of this stuff better than the guys telling it to you it would not have been as annoying.SouthDakotaGrizzly wrote:I wasn't at the game, so I can't say for sure what the conditions really felt like, but it did seem like the announcers were playing it up quite a bit. That wasn't the only thing they repeated ad nauseum though. If I woulda taken a shot every time they mentioned that Chase Reynolds played 8 man football in high school, well, I wouldn't have been conscious for the final two drives.
Their geniune aww of the situation came through as they probably believed that all of the audience at home felt the same way they did.
I'd take it as a compliement if I were a Griz fan.
