Re: Unlike Many of You Political Dilettantes Here.....
As much as I dislike them, I watch Olberman and Maddow more than anything. I haven't watched FOX in months. All I have to know about what is going on with the right is by watching Olberman and Maddow blather on and on about it. It is truly entertainment.
Other than that, I don't watch TV anymore. I hate television and what it has become. Unless they bring back the XXX spice channels on basic cable I am not going to buy a new TV once the one I have breaks.

No. CNN is not middle of the road. Most of the CNN personalities drip with disgust for conservative policies, politics and people, and frame questions and arguments in a clear left wing slant.Ibanez wrote:NBC and MSNBC are the same, MSNBC is in conjunction with Microsoft. I don't care who you are, that's funny.
For every Bill OReilly (who's an ASS, I might add), there's TEN Olbermans.
It's hardly "even".
I thought CNN was "middle of the road."![]()
The exception is John King, who seems to play it pretty evenly.

Excellent news source. I'll often watch the BBC news show for an international perspective on world news. Depending on your PBS station, is on either right before or right after Lehrer.Cap'n Cat wrote:Guys, I've said it before a dozen times, if you want good, thoughtful news without bias, watch the Jim Lehrer NewsHour on PBS. You are so wrong about that. Limbaugh is clearly a moderate and Fox is middle of the road.OSBF wrote:translation: anything left of limbaugh is liberal and can not be trustednative wrote:

Big Ho and I watched for two nights in a row. After the second night Big Ho told me she wanted to slit her wrists. They are so negative about EVERYTHING they report on. Not one bright spot in two hours of programming.Cap'n Cat wrote:Yes, BBC International is superb, too.

Well, Bob, all I can offer you is that MOST of international news involves negative subject matter.

Earth to Bluehen and AZ, O'Reilly and Olbermann are not news sources, they are talk shows aka Oprah, Hannity, Letterman etc.BlueHen86 wrote:But more people watch O'Reilly than watch all 10 Olbermans combined. It's even because everyone can find the news that they want to hear. There may be more liberal news media outlets, but all the conks need is one, and they have it in Fox.AZGrizFan wrote:So, Fox = CNN+MSNBC+HLN+CBS+NBC+ABC?

One of the few shows on PBS that is too boring to watch.Cap'n Cat wrote:Guys, I've said it before a dozen times, if you want good, thoughtful news without bias, watch the Jim Lehrer NewsHour on PBS. It's on at 7:00 EST, 6:00 CST.
