The latest polls http://electoral-vote.com/evp2008/Pres/Maps/Aug13.html show Obama with a 40 electoral vote lead (289-249). This is down from a 316-198 lead just 12 short days ago. Obamanators should be concerned....McCain has done just about everything possible to give this election to Obama (in Obamanator's eyes) and yet he's still hanging in there. He's cut a supposedly insurmountable lead in half in just under two weeks. And as the voting public gets to know Obama more and more, that lead will continue to dwindle. Just a few months ago, Obamafellators couldn't see a single scenario where Obama would lose.

How about this one? McCain takes all the states he currently leads in, and takes Indiana, Colorado and Nevada or New Hampshire (three of the four "weak" Dem states at this point). McCain wins...

Also, the McCain camp response to Russia's Georgia invasion ran CIRCLES around Obama's vanilla response. People are starting to get the picture.

When Virgina swings back to Red (as it will) and Indiana goes it's Red destiny, that'll make it 274/263--McCain.

That doesn't matter. We're losing jobs left and right. We don't produce anything in America. We aint taking care of our infrastructure, we have no money, on and on ..... Primarily Bush's/republicans fault, and McCain will take the rap.

Republicans are pro big business and anti worker, union or not, and practically encouraged them to ship all their jobs overseas. Every other country on the planet subsidizes business and protects their markets, except us. This is one area where Tman is right - lucrative incentives for businesses that create jobs.
