OK, so I'm exaggerating a bit. But one can only imagine the letters of protest that would pour into the school to say the least.

Most of the time, and I do say MOST, the sources on eGriz are worse than a Grad student using ask.com as a source on their dissertation.dbackjon wrote:But they have sources too.AZGrizFan wrote:

There is an estimated $90 M avaiable in incentives, media chores, etc. That small number weeds out a lot of the dream candidates. Pretty tight for a program that produces a significant surplus. It's even tighter for assistant allowances.

Then how in the heck could they afford a move up? They would need to add two sports, 44+ schollies, plus bump salaries.Cap'n Cat wrote:kemajic wrote:The base salary is $150 M with no negotiation according to AD Jim O'Day. Like a lot of FCS programs, the football team produces a surplus, but the department is in the red.

All that bowl money.dbackjon wrote:Then how in the heck could they afford a move up? They would need to add two sports, 44+ schollies, plus bump salaries.Cap'n Cat wrote:

If Montana had only kept that Pac 10 membership card.AZGrizFan wrote:All that bowl money.

Maybe we could resuccitate the old Skyline Conference...Gil Dobie wrote:If Montana had only kept that Pac 10 membership card.AZGrizFan wrote:All that bowl money.

$150 MILLION?!? That's what the capital M means, kemajic.kemajic wrote:The base salary is $150 M with no negotiation according to AD Jim O'Day. I'm pretty sure that's what he was going for but I was a little stumped on that one myself.SuperHornet wrote:$150 MILLION?!? Try $150K. I think that's the unit you're looking for.

Thanks, Ursus.Ursus A. Horribilis wrote:I'm pretty sure that's what he was going for but I was a little stumped on that one myself.SuperHornet wrote:

eGriz has been rather interesting the last couple of days. Got a guy who came on the board, said he was a former player and that Rob Phenicie actually got over ruled on many of his plays. I don't know if he was a former player or not, but he sure turned some ideas on their head.dbackjon wrote:Sources on egriz say otherwise.AZGrizFan wrote:Heard from a source today that the list is as follows:

You, sir, are a shit-stirrer.Wedgebuster wrote:Montana and BYU are rumored to be headed for the PAC-10(12)

SeaGriz, I have said that before and I believe the guys that told me that as they were players also. It happened quite a bit in the first few years but has tapered off the last few. I got tired of arguing with people that sit on the boards or in the stands and think they have a great handle on what's going on so I quite trying to point that out to them. I really love the passion of Griz fans but I get sick of the fucksticks that know how to call a game even though the rest of the week they are crunching numbers in an office.SeattleGriz wrote:eGriz has been rather interesting the last couple of days. Funny, cause now some people are worried Phenicie is actually a good O coordinator and we might lose him.
All I have to say, is that I have no clue who will be a good coach, but I do trust the U of M to make a wise choice.

Bobby over ruled Phenicie and Phen took the heat for a lot of the shit that wasn't his call.
