Maryland moving down?
JMU took them to OT in football and now W&M beats them in Comcast Center!?! If Maryland were to join the CAA, would it be a move up or down?

Given the current state of Maryland's football team and the fact that their hoops fans are STILL whining about how UOP supposedly screwed them out of an NCAA Tournament bid, I'm not so sure the CAA would take them even if they applied. Maryland isn't good enough at ANYTHING (other than maybe lacrosse and field hockey) to get into the CAA.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
