Has there been a bowl game yet where it wasn't pouring rain?

They should be ASHAMED at the field conditions for the LSU/Penn St game. I know it's the same stadium that Wisconsin/Miami played in the other night but sheezus.

I can't imagine that it's cheaper to continually resod than it is to put out the cash for a sprinturf field.

Agreed. The field in Orlando is horrible. There are currently 3 bowls games being played in Florida right now.. all on at the same time. Oversaturation much?

Football on artificial grass is as lame as football in an indoor stadium. :ugeek:

Oops. I wouldn't have started the other thread about the grass in Orlando had I read this first.

The Citrus Bowl groundskeeper really needs to call the Raymond James Stadium (or whatever it's called now) groundskeeper over in Tampa. They kept the field looking good while the Citrus Bowl field is an embarrassment.

Nice to see FSU send Coach Bowden out with a win. Can only think what if the defense actually came to play this season.

I'm not a Buckeye fan, but if i was, Mushburger would be pissin me off with him consistently calling them the "Bucks". I realize he's trying to be cute with the Bucks and Ducks, but who the fark are the Bucks. Overhypin, making up nicknames, early callin, azzclown.

They call themselves the Bucks. They have a giant flag that says Go Bucks. Pryor just said Go Bucks.

Thanks, never paid attention to that or heard it on air before. Still, not a fan of the Mushburger.

Not quite. Harvard beat Oregon 7-6 in the 1920 Rose Bowl. Oregon beat Penn in 1917.

Harvard is 1-0 all-time in the Rose Bowl!
