Jets, Ravens, Steelers, Texans, and Broncos all at 8-7. Two wild card spots open. Should be an interesting Sunday

And the NFC is all settled, at least as to who's in if not the positioning.

Denver should get one of the wild cards, if they don't hock a big loogie against KC at home on Sunday.

And Baltimore has the best chance to get the other slot...IMHO, that is.....

Its all over... Cincy has nothing to play for = win for the Jets. And there's no way Oakland beats the Ravens. Ray Rice may run for 500 yards...

As far as I'm concerned, if a league/conference has "American" in it vice "National," it whomps. See AL, AFC, ABA (current version), etc.

Oakland is playing better as of late, not sure if that is based on the other teams taking them lightly or not though.

I can't see Baltimore losing this one. They are getting fired up here locally for their nightmarish play against the hated Steelers. I think they show up for real this weekend.

Looks like Jacksonville is blowing their shot at the playoffs. If they won 7-5 in the AFC puts them as the top team at 8-8 and unless two teams go 9-7 they would be the first team in. Snow might be effecting Jacksonville in this game.

even if they won, four of these 5 teams would have to lose, NYJ, Pitt, Bal, Houston, denver... their odds were very very very slim

Yes, but hypothetically if they were all 8-8 Jacksonville would move into the 5th spot and at worst the 6th spot.

Right now it looks like Houston is going to lose and with the Dolphins coming on strong in the second half they still have a chance to knock off Pittsburgh. Although it looks like Pittsburgh is going to win since Henne is out.

If Dallas, Jets win and Balt, Den lose, then it's Houston at NE, Jets at Bengals, Phil at Dallas, GB at Ariz.

Jets are crushing the Bengals.

So, after today's action, there will be 3 wildcard games next weekend featuring rematches of today's games:

Packers @ Cards
Eagles @ Cowboys
Jets @ Bengals

Wowsers.

I was pretty close... it was just McGahee that ran wild (167 yards and 3 TD's) instead of Rice (who still had 70 yards on only 14 carries).
