Alan Grayson, D-Fla.

Embarrassment to the university. I rest my case. :ohno:

Kudos to Harvard.

If the House only had a few hundred more Graysons, the country would be in great shape!

A true American Patriot, who genuinely cares about AMERICA - for the people, by the people.

He might be one of the few in congress who is starting to get it. He might actually be a real progressive. I'm guessing he is not very happy about the health care legislation either.

I don't blame you for disliking him Ive, we often tend to fear that which we don't understand. :kisswink:

Then YOU can give to Harvard, dback. I won't support that whiny toilet-cleaning douchebag. Read his whiny self-fellating bio.

Then give to NAU - we turn out Congressmen more to your liking - Republican crooks like Rick Renzi

Scheit, dback, did I ever tell you that my late mother -- who spent her whole life in the theater -- spent 7 of the happiest weeks of her life at the NAU summer theater program? I thought not. I'd much rather give a grand to NAU than to fokkin' Harvard at this stage of my life. So get out of my face.

That is nice to hear, IT - NAU has a great summer program in many areas.

So when can NAU expect a donation?

I'm sorry you feel so threatened by populist speech. Let me guess, you're not a very big fan of Jesse Ventura either.

The hoi poloi and those of us who count them as customers however appreciate a little plain talk and blunt language from time to time. We've figured out these type of ideas are better for America as whole rather than a select, pre destined few.

Harvard does not need the money...
Jack Meyer, David Mittleman and Maurice Samuels turned 5 billion into 25 billion in 15 years - and - Meyer would still be there if he wasn't harassed about his 35 million dollar salary every week....

Rest assured the present crop of dullards managing the Harvard hen-house will turn Jacks fine work back into 5 billion in a few more years - and everything will be back to normal...

The Italian said she had lunch a few times with Jack at the Federal Reserve building - found him a fascinating mathematician but a bit dull on the personal side - apparently he loved a good avocado salad - but then again, don't we all...

I have had a rocky relationship with one department in particular and admin in general...
Let's say I didn't exactly cover myself with glory - I kind of went the Soledad O'Brien route with Harvard

When I was in Boston (second time around) I surrendered 100% of my salary to the school when I was employed by The Harvard University Press and granted a few very important "things" to the School of Engineering and Applied Science - something I've since regretted doing... Mostly related to quantitative experimental techniques used at a former employer Scientific-Atlanta where we were charting the cooperative behavior of molecular architectures and I gave Harvard some detailed files on dynamic self-organizing sub-cellular structures...

Cisco systems (the company that had just purchased Scientific-Atlanta) was interested in my generosity... that took a long time to "clean up"

but basically the answer is: No.. I don't write Harvard a check every month
But I have continued to "do nice things" for those in certain departments - and it is appreciated

The Italian has a nice little place in town, I like visiting her...
If you're having a party give me some advanced notice - I'll bring her along - but she also works and has a place in Montreal, she's back and forth a lot - it takes delicate timing to synchronize with her

Meh, I wasn't smart enough - although I have had a life long love affair with Nanotechnologies
I landed in consumer based electronics and transmission technologies - it's been a long road with many strange jobs and some cool stories (bore you to tears) but I find myself fascinating

Yep.

His latest project is to perfect a device that will allow evangelicals to mind meld with the government officials of backwater African countries. Getting them to kill gays is much easier that way.

He's an embarrassment to this nation. Your typical arrogant leftist knee-jerk reactionary who is prone to open his cock-catcher before thinking. One of those NIMBY-like "lovers" of free speech....he loves it until he realizes there is reciprocation
