He might be one of the few in congress who is starting to get it. He might actually be a real progressive. I'm guessing he is not very happy about the health care legislation either.
I don't blame you for disliking him Ive, we often tend to fear that which we don't understand. :kisswink:
Yeah, but I'm bettin' that sorry cocksucker voted for it anyways. :ohno: :ohno: :ohno:

If he has, and I'm guessing he hasn't, it's only because conks believe that the 1st amendment should apply to coroporations when it comes to campaign finance.

Actually, kalm, Summers did a damn fine job as Harvard president before the feminazis chased him out of town. And, as you well know, he's a card-carrying liberal who works for your hero. :coffee:

To be honest, I kind of agreed with the comments that got him in trouble.

And you are correct, politically he appears to be center left. But economically he is a free market, free trade, deregulation neo-liberal. In american parlance that means a conservative. But I'm guessing you're aware that, just like you're aware that Obama is no more my hero than I'm guessing George Bush was yours. 8-)

Especially those who publicly admit that they like Mahler!

I enjoy the Hungarian Dances and a few others of Brahms works but really Mahler is where it's at...
and when I'm feeling crazy or up too late I enjoy Richard Strauss "Till Eulenspiegel's Merry Pranks" and "Don Juan" probably two of the greatest tone poem ever written...

Hey..!!!
That's Wagner Dude...
Mahler usually rolls in at a brisk 2 and 1/2 hours - they practically fly by compared to Wagner

Back to the theme of the thread. Grayson probably hates classical music. Vote him out! :x

As a sign of my extreme distaste for Comrade Grayson, and in solidarity with Harvard's five other Conk alumni (we barely trail Nova season ticketholders), wherever they are, I have changed my "fan of" selection.

Grayson's far from an ordinary man... a "self made" multi millionaire trial lawyer who politically was in the right place at the right time and managed to get elected to congress from what had been a pretty safe GOP district in Central FL. The only thing that Grayson has in common with the "ordinary man" in our culture as it is portrayed in the MSM is his severe lack of couth and class.

I'm also amazed with how he's portrayed in the MSM. If a member of the GOP was as crass, as uncouth, as unethical, as mean spirited as him that person would be tarred and feathered by the MSM, not held up as a "maverick" and "new kind of pol."

There are a LOT of folks in his district who are very PO'ed with him, but for some reason the FL GOP seems unable to recruit a suitable opponent for him later this year. Very strange indeed...

You and I must watch different msm's. I see Republicans making just as crass and uncouth comments as Grayson has all the time.

You can champion the causes of the ordinary man without being one. :coffee:

She's actually from the wet side of the state, but she did go to WSU so your geography is kind of improving.

Am I a fanatic of Patty Murray? No. But there are far worse senators, and I did get kick out of her firing up the knuckle draggers over her comments about Bin Laden building schools. :thumb:
