Why so long to retire it?

Why so long? Well he retired in 2005 from the NBA and since then has been overscheduled and couldn't make it at the available times during basketball season. He finally got a free day and now it can be done. He's already in the UCA Sports Hall of Fame, but the retirement of his jersey should rightly fall during basketball season. Well, finally....

Saw that Central Arkansas had over 5,000 people at their basketball game. That's a very strong number.

I really do think that adding UCA to the Southland Conference was a great move, just like I did when it was made. I will be interested to see if the SLC adds Arkansas-Little Rock (UALR) in a few years when the Sun Belt Conference changes.
