Dems Reeling, Soul-Searching After Mass. Loss

Hey, Jimmy is now a solid #2 in the "Worst President in History" poll, behind the current placeholder.

Actually, the voters and the Republicans did Obama and the Dems a favor - they gave them a stinging defeat and a chance to back away from the disaster that was going to be the Health Care bill and did all of that 10 months before the mid term election. Having a super majority gave the Dems way too much latitude and they ended up going way too far. Now they have a second chance to rectify things and see if they can actually make good on Obama's original promise of post-partisanism. I worry, though, that we're going to see more populist rallying crying (i.e. fat cat references) and trying to find a bogeyman for Dems to point to - the amount of Bush references in the past week is disturbing. Bunkering down isn't going to fix anything.

And yet talk amongst Dem elitists is a plan to push through their wet dream Healthcare plan at all costs. Do you REALLY think they got the message?
