New York to host Santos in RBA Opener

SECAUCUS, NJ- Red Bull New York announced today that it will face Brazilian club, Santos, on March 20, 2010 in the official Grand Opening of Red Bull Arena, located in Harrison, NJ. Kickoff time will be announced at a future date. The exhibition match is included in the 2010 Red Bulls Full Season Ticket packages at no additional cost.

I take the train by there sometimes. Man that place is an incredible looking stadium.

Too bad its in the shittiest part of NJ.

The sky was cloudless blue, and the first evening of spring felt more like early summer. A sellout crowd of 25,000, many in short sleeves on a 73-degree night, filled long-discussed and much-delayed Red Bull Arena and watched the Red Bulls roll over Brazil's Santos - Pele's old team - 3-1 in a chippy exhibition.
