I am hoping for some sort of rebirth of CSN Log or similar FCS news home.
Any chance of that or other sites you can reccommend?

Hoping for this, as well. Whatever has gone before, this site now stands as the national FCS board, and CSN provides written coverage of FCS like no other. I'd hate to think that a guy like Bruce Dowd might get lost in the aftermath. If nothing else, as long as he's writing I'll be linking his work.chris wrote:Keeper wrote:Seriously, Chris, Terror and others,

Welcome aboard Tex!TexasTerror wrote:My friends,
Most of you know me from Any Given Saturday. If not, I am probably one of the more passionate FCS posters you'll come across. I promote this brand as hard as I can and try to be somewhat informative, particularly about the Southland Conference.
As unfortunate as it is to see such a "good friend" depart due to an owner that believed that FCS was "Division II", it is time to look ahead, so here I am! While I never made my way over to this board to post since posting on one national FCS board was time-consuming enough, I did lurk from time to time. Now, I am here and I am ready to talk about this great brand of football with all of you.
It is great to be reunited with good people through our love of the highest level of championship football the NCAA has to offer. I look forward to engaging in FCS talk and doing what I can to contribute to these forums.
So, let's get down to business and do what we do best - let's talk FCS!

I concur on getting CSN involved. College football is much more interesting when you have good, knowledgable writing and some good pics too. Both are provided by CSN and their contributions made AGS a solid site.Tribe4SF wrote:Hoping for this, as well. I've linked to a few of the articles from CSN in my posts. Encourage everyone to go over there, because they now have blog(s) over there and this is just great coverage for FCS!danefan wrote:As far as CSN goes, I hope those guys come over and post their articles here. It appears that Ralph has upgraded Collegesportingnews.com and hopefully he'll work with Chris to get that info over here.

Glad to see you here Jason. You still writing for Ralph these days?TexasTerror wrote:My friends,

One thing I think you will see here is that the mods are MUCH MUCH better than the ones at AGS. This is a much more friendly atmosphere. I have yet to run across a jerk poster here. I was welcomed with open arms when I came over and you certainly have been as well. Have anyone else from AGS you knew come over as well. The more FCS talk the better!

Apparently not, Bobbybobbythekidd wrote:SmallCollegeFBFan wrote:

Have you met Azgizfan yet?

It's Bob, dammit!dbackjon wrote:Apparently not, Bobby

Still writing - latest column and quite a few blogs are up on CSN.SmallCollegeFBFan wrote:You still writing for Ralph these days?
I think that AGS is coming back - just got that hunch - but even then, I think we need to have more open dialogue and more people posting on BOTH boards. Each, I am sure will have its unique personalities (i.e. AGS has Mr. Chicken and CS.com has D1B), but both can co-exist.SmallCollegeFBFan wrote:One thing I think you will see here is that the mods are MUCH MUCH better than the ones at AGS. I'm sure as hell glad you're here SCFBF. It's obvious you have a lot of knowledge of FCS, as well solid connections and inside sources to the NFL. You provide a lot of valuable information that I'm sure most everyone appreciates.SmallCollegeFBFan wrote:That is good to hear. I am sure they are good!TexasTerror wrote:

I hope AGS comes back for everyone else's sake but as I said over here before, I will not be posting there anymore. CS.com is my new home. I have never been treated over here like Retro, Ralph, etc. all did over there. When I bring information here I don't get talked down to and hated on by Ralph because of some stupid grudge he holds over me. The people who run this are much friendlier.
Since you are going to take such a stand, then let's make things clear.TexasTerror wrote:
I really do not think there's anything to cover. What is in the past, is in the past, but if you want me to discuss it, here goes. I assure you this is the final time that I will discuss it, as apparently my previous effort was for not.
I was never opposed to CS.com, butI was loyal to AGS - a community that I was apart of for a long run, as you all know.
Some of the things said on both sides were nasty and uncalled for. A quick glance at threads involving yours truly, show that the nasty remarks by a select few even carried into a thread regarding my 18 year old brother's passing. Clearly, very inappropriate - though I do understand that some individuals will just be immature and I can be thick skinned if I need to.
I think my role with AGS was relatively confused...
