Obama spoke to a 6th grade class the other day, possible yesterday?, and brought the Presidential Podium and the teleprompter. Isn't that a bit much for a 6th grade class with 10-11 year olds?

You seem to think that this picture makes president Bush look like a fool because the book is upside down, but Bush is not reading a book to the children. He is sharing their classroom environment, sitting in one of their small chairs, and looking up at the child, who is the focus of the event.Wedgebuster wrote:Agreed, this would have been much more professional and impressive-
You gotta admit though the pic IS pretty damned funny, Native.native wrote:You seem to think that this picture makes president Bush look like a fool because the book is upside down, but Bush is not reading a book to the children. Compare George Bush celebrating the child to Barack Obama, as usual, celebrating himself.
To paraphrase Russell Crowe in Gladiator, "The time for honoring yourself
will soon be at an end..."

It's a pretty well done Photoshop, but you'll notice that if you flip Bush's book right side up, the image on the back of the book would be reverse image of the little girl's book. Nice attempt, but still a Photshop FAIL.andy7171 wrote:This has to be photoshopped.

He's talking to the MEDIA in the photo not STUDENTS.![]()
Nice drudge copy and paste, though.

I'm not saying whether it makes it better or not... you can decide that. I'm just saying this thread is fucking misleading because he's not on a teleprompter talking to kids.native wrote:

I am not mad about the teleprompter. The problem for Obama is that it is his only trick.Skjellyfetti wrote:I'm not saying whether it makes it better or not... you can decide that. I'm just saying this thread is **** misleading because he's not on a teleprompter talking to kids.native wrote:

And, where was your outrage when previous presidents used teleprompters? I don't get the teleprompter rage.
Here he is talking to the kids:

The teleprompter rage is because Obama was labeled a certified intellectual, but yet stammers and stumbles when it isn't in front of him. All the while, the Left continually tries to label Bush as a retard.Skjellyfetti wrote:And, where was your outrage when previous presidents used teleprompters? I don't get the teleprompter rage.

It's just Conks trying to marginalize his strengths. It's a good strategy. They did the same to Kerry regarding his service in Vietnam.SeattleGriz wrote:The teleprompter rage is because Obama was labeled a certified intellectual, but yet stammers and stumbles when it isn't in front of him. Obama gives a good speech, that is it.

See how fast technology advances. Can you imagine Obama having to use that jet to translate. It wouldn't even have fit in the room!!!kalm wrote:He needs a teleprompter to help translate his thoughts from Swahili to Farsi to spoken English. Kind of like Clint Eastwood in Firefox.
