Holy crap. You mean that wasn't photoshopped?? I thought it had to be a fake for sure. Oh SK, I figured you'd be tired of the blue tongue from the kool-aid by now. Still defending him.Skjellyfetti wrote:He's talking to the MEDIA in the photo not STUDENTS.![]()

Funny, I was just listening to Hannity who brought up this incident. He must have said the words Obama and the teleprompter a dozen times each inside of a minute.
Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.
Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat.

I was thinking that the Obama photo was shopped, as well, but then I noticed the shadow patterns from the flag hanging on the wall in the back ot the room.
I'm sure he is addressing the media as the previous poster mentioned, but you have to admit that Obama is casting quite the majestic air in the pic.
I'm still not so sure the Obama photo isn't shopped. Why would you need monitors in a classroom?
It does seem a little ridiculous to set all that up for a press conference, but not a big deal to me (and I dislike Obama more and more everyday). This is politics at its finest Obama getting the "Bush treatment" from the right.

Now you're getting it! There may still be hope for you.kalm wrote:He needs a teleprompter to help translate his thoughts from Swahili to Farsi to spoken English. Kind of like Clint Eastwood in Firefox.

But YESTERDAY does mean the preceding day, doesn't it? No worries, I'll give you a pass.dgreco wrote:the other day doesn't necessarily mean the day preceding today, but i'll give you a passGrizalltheway wrote:

See how distracted I am at work, the whole time I thought and was reading it as the other day and not yesterday. I am an example of a person who cannot multitask.Grizalltheway wrote:But YESTERDAY does mean the preceding day, doesn't it? No worries, I'll give you a pass.dgreco wrote:

Where's your outrage everytime Wedgie posts that ridiculous misleading photoshopped picture of Bush with the book upside down?Skjellyfetti wrote:I'm not saying whether it makes it better or not... you can decide that. Gee that makes it all better...
And, where was your outrage when previous presidents used teleprompters? I don't get the teleprompter rage.
Here he is talking to the kids:
"Ah fuck. You are right." KYJelly, 11/6/12
"The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam." Barack Obama, 9/25/12

Re: Obama does it again
I had to laugh this morning, while waiting for my traffic update, the news had a story on Obama in a meeting with some committee. It was a room of 12-15 people sitting around a u shaped table, with Obama at the same podium and teleprompter in this classroom.
...I mean, I know there were cameras and stuff in the room, but he was there to meet with the people sitting at the table. I thought how weird it would be in a meeting if the person talking were standing and looking side to side and slightly up when everyone in the room was sitting.
