I just thought his message was funny. Distorted, but funny.

Try to have some fun here. Nothing personal. It helps to be able to laugh at jokes, even lobbed at your side.

Besides, when Obama wins, T-Man will be in no mood to make jokes. So let him get it out of his system now.

Gotcha Joe. Point taken.

I would have golfed. Republicans are fun - heavy drinkers and smokers, they like a good steak, perverted so they know the best and raunchiest jokes. And they're always looking for pussy or male ass, even if they're married. The only time they shut their fvcking mouths is during the pledge of allegiance or the prayer before dinner. :geek:

Point of correction: It's the DONKS that shut their mouths during the Pledge of Allegiance. Reps are actually SAYING the Pledge of Allegiance.

Green with envy, as usual, eh, Anger Management Boy.

Still don't know me yet, apparently.

It'd doesn't matter to me whether Obama or McCain is elected. I prefer McCain, because he is unquestionably a vastly better qualified candidate.
Within the context of my work, under McCain, U.S. energy development projects will exponentially increase (an expansion that's already started), and under Obama, government bureaucracy (hence, local/regional grants and pork spending, including social program "rehabilitation" service/manufacture industries such as the one you visited near Milwaukee) will exponentially increase. In the first case, it's good for America and my bottomline. In the latter case, it's bad for America, but still good for my bottomline, so even if Obama wins, I still win.

As for the folly's at the Dem's convention...

...when the Democratic Speaker of the U.S. Senate verbally attacks the protesters by suggesting that maybe the government ought to "drill their brains", any moron foolish enough to obsequiously defend the Dem's leadership, only discredits themself.

Hey...D1B, how about posting something intelligent rather than personal attacks or your expansive analysis of religion's failures.

Might I suggest, a discussion of WAPO's Beijing Bureau Chief Philip Pan's new book, "Out of Mao's Shadow". Pan, who was just interviewed by Bill Moyer the other night, displayed exceptional clarity and organization in his analysis of China's transition to industrialism and their post-transition role as it pertained to global human rights and economics.

If you're serious about a noble purpose/motivation for your criticism of religion, then this topic would be right up your alley.

ABC News Reporter investigating Dem "Big Money" donors gets arrested while taking photos from sidewalk of "heavy hitter" luncheon in restaurant.

Interesting stuff...

ABC Reporter Arrested in Denver Taking Pictures of Senators, Big Donors
Asa Eslocker Was Investigating the Role of Lobbyists and Top Donors at the Convention

DENVER--Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he and a camera crew were attempting to take pictures on a public sidewalk of Democratic Senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown Palace Hotel.

Police in Denver arrested an ABC News producer today as he was attempting to take pictures of Democratic Senators and VIP donors leaving a private meeting at the Brown Palace Hotel.

Police on the scene refused to tell ABC lawyers the charges against the producer, Asa Eslocker, who works with the ABC News investigative unit.

A cigar-smoking Denver police sergeant, accompanied by a team of five other officers, first put his hands on Eslocker's neck, then twisted the producers arm behind him to put on handcuffs.

A police official later told lawyers for ABC News that Eslocker is being charged with trespass, interference, and failure to follow a lawful order. He also said the arrest followed a signed complaint from the Brown Palace Hotel.

Video taken at the scene shows a man, wearing the uniform of a Boulder County sheriff, ordering Eslocker off the sidewalk in front of the hotel, to the side of the entrance.

The sheriff's officer is seen telling Eslocker the sidewalk is owned by the hotel. Later he is seen pushing Eslocker off the sidewalk into oncoming traffic, forcing him to the other side of the street.

It was two hours later when Denver police arrived to place Eslocker under arrest, apparently based on a complaint from the Brown Palace Hotel, a central location for Democratic officials.

During the arrest, one of the officers can be heard saying to Eslocker, "You're lucky I didn't knock the f..k out of you."

Eslocker was released late today after posting $500 bond.

Eslocker and his ABC News colleagues are spending the week investigating the role of corporate lobbyists and wealthy donors at the convention for a series of Money Trail reports on ABC World News with Charles Gibson.
Video of arrest (...this is pathetic).

Love that cigar chomping Sgt...

...who effected the arrest of the ABC reporter...

...who's just standing there...

...on the sidewalk across the street from the location of the alleged offense...

...two hours after it occured...

...the heinous offense of "trespassing on the sidewalk"...

...a sidewalk that allegedly belonged to the Brown Palace Restaurant...

...by GRABBING the ABC reporter...

...by the throat.

Nice. :thumb:

Can you say, "career-ender"...

If anyone in the Denver Police Department has any honor and guts, they'll take that unprofessional jackass Sgt. off the streets and put him where he can't repeat that blunder, say Records, or Procurement, or School Crossing...at a closed school.

Last night, Gore compared Obama to one of the worst presidents ever..Lincoln. It's so, so sad that the American people think that Lincoln was such a great man.

It would've been better to compare Obama to Clinton

Both were young, with no military expierence and little foreign policy expierence. Lincoln went to the White House the same way Obama did, but hopefully Obama won't wage war against his own people(and go crazy from sphyillis).

At least he got the following right:
Gore also compared Obama to Abraham Lincoln, saying that "before he entered the White House, Abraham Lincoln’s experience in elective office consisted of eight years in his state legislature in Springfield, Ill., and one term in Congress –- during which he showed the courage and wisdom to oppose the invasion of another country, that was popular when it started, but later condemned by history
Turns out I might be a little gay. 89Hen 11/7/17

That's it. I am now officially voting for Obama. He made so many promises last night that he only has to live up to about 1/10th of them and we'll ALL be better off. I mean, I have GOT to be in the 95% of working families that's getting their taxes lowered, right?

Seriously....I've never seen someone who has mastered the art of speaking for 45 minutes without saying a fvcking thing. And watching the rockstar groupie sheeple eat it up with a spoon truly makes me concerned for the survival of America should this man somehow get elected. They're like lemmings, following the lead sheep off the cliff.

It also disgusts me to watch politicians whore themselves out for "the good of the party". It's not what's good for America, it's what's good for their party. Watching Donk after Donk go up to the microphone (including the VP nominee himself) and suck off Obama, telling the sheeple how wonderful he is and how great he'll be as president, just 6-8 short months after they were all doing their best to convince would-be voters that he was NOT qualified to be president, did NOT have enough experience, etc., etc. Apparently, in a Donks' eyes, all it takes is about 9 months on the campaign trail and you're ready to lead the greatest nation on earth. What a bunch of friggin' hypocrites.

I think I'll put in my resume to GE for CEO. I'm sure I'm qualified.

Maybe this is way off of topic, but the only reason I can figure out a person would spend 50 million bucks to get elected to a job that pays 300,000 bucks a year is that they figure they will be able to steal that 50 million and more during the 4 years. Am I right, or did I just throw this thread off topic?
