FOX News.. "most trusted"
More 'bad' news for the Libs...
Fox is the most trusted television news network in the country, according to a new poll out Tuesday.
A Public Policy Polling nationwide survey of 1,151 registered voters Jan. 18-19 found that 49 percent of Americans trusted Fox News, 10 percentage points more than any other network.

Bad news for us all.
Any survey that would count Fox News or for that matter MSNBC as a "news network" is flawed right from the get go.
Turning to Fox for news is like using National Geographic as porn.
Re: FOX News.. "most trusted"
MSNBC doesn't even have it right, they have a republican doing their morning show! At least fox knows how to be consistent.kalm wrote:

SHHHHH, know one is supposed to know that MSNBC has only 3 hours of left leaning commentary and just like Fox is really just another cog in the Corporate Stream Media.Fact wrote:MSNBC doesn't even have it right, they have a republican doing their morning show! Re: FOX News.. "most trusted"
I think it mainly points out the distrust with the traditional stations (ABC, CBS and NBC). Couple that with the fact that political commentary listeners/viewers on average, are three times more informed of the subjects being discussed than those who get just news. While that applies to MSNBC as well, it shows they just don't quite have the formula down yet.kalm wrote:

Like everybody else, I have my political leanings but when I'm surfing for news the right and left bias on different sites is pretty amazing. I go to Fox to get more up to the minute news and CNN every couple of days since they seemingly don't update their online content as often. I have a huge thirst for news, so I sample a lot of sites no matter what their leanings (MSNBC, Yahoo, Google, ABC, CBS, etc.). You have to mix it up some to get something close to an objective view on a given story. My $.02.

Good policy. I listen to Maddow for comic relief, and I enjoy Chris Matthews' energy and insight, skewed as it may be. There is just not enough substance in Olbermann, however, to tolerate his foolishness and vitriol for more than a few moments.93henfan wrote:Well stated. Matthews is, for the most part, respectful of his guests with opposing views to the extent that their point of view is allowed to be heard. Lately, the same can be said of O'Reilly and Hannity. You sure can't call Bob Beckel either conservative or moderate. I like the fact that Hannity regularly invites credible opponents, like Lanny Davis and Pat Cadell.
I also like to go to the original source, like Zogby, Cook or Rasmussen.

Olberman's such a tool....did you hear his rant after the Mass election? Sounded like a little kid who wnated to burn down a theater since he couldn't get a ticket to the premiere...what a fokking baby...no respect for that guy at all which isn't a real drop form the little amount I had before his rant....what a fokking tool....Josef Olberman...native wrote:Good policy. I like Beckel although I would of course consider him moderate. Lanny Davis is a pure corporatist whore with no allegiance. Haven't heard of Pat Cadell.native wrote:Good policy. And I think the "limited" number of major conservative outlets makes them look much higher. Fox is the main TV source for conservatives while liberals have 3 or 4 options. I think when you add up the liberal TV stations and compare them to fox the numbers are probably close.BDKJMU wrote:FOX is just as much a news network as CNN. One leans right. Lately, FOX has been beating MSNBC and CNN combined by at least two to one. I think that Beck's tutorial on communism last week beat every other show on both cable and broadcast TV.dgreco wrote:And I think the "limited" number of major conservative outlets makes them look much higher. Someone who I cannot stand, but have to give credit to is Barney Frank. He at least has the balls to show up and fight it out when on TV. That cannot be said of many.native wrote:Matthews is, for the most part, respectful of his guests with opposing views to the extent that their point of view is allowed to be heard. Press Release from the Democtratic Polling Firm
Here is web site and the actual press release from the Democrat-leaning polling firm which conducted the survey upon which the Politico article is based. The conclusion found that "Fox News is the only major tv news operation that more Americans trust than distrust."

The state of things is that "progressives" have largely taken over the educational profession and do not tell the truth about marxist revolutionaries or the policies they advocate.kalm wrote:And that says quite a bit about the state of things.native wrote:

Beck makes plenty of mistakes and is often overly dramatic, but he is exactly correct in taking on the "progressive" establishment and vacuous celebrities on this subject.
