Good to see a Dutchman here. One of my teammates at UOP (Gio Carmazzi) transferred to Hofstra after we gave up the ghost in '95. He took the Flying Dutchmen to the playoffs a couple of times before being the only one of us 6 Tiger QBs to be drafted (3rd round, '9ers). Unfortunately, there was an internal power struggle in SF between Bill Walsh and Terry Donahue that spelled his doom. After Gio was hurt in Europe, the '9ers cut him. Haven't heard from him since, unfortunately.

Don't think anything of almost snagging that garter. I've caught two in my lifetime that I can remember, and NOTHING ever happened because of it. Heck, one of the brides even asked for it back.
