Weird, coulda sworn when i looked at the schedule there wasn't one listed. It's there now though.
That being said, Tx State is listed to be free that week?
Rumors abound we are filling those with TAMU-CC and TSU but, our schedule comes out late too, so who knows? It could be anybody right now. I do think, however, they want the 2 openings as home games, which would give us 6 in San Marcos.
The Islanders from Corpus Christi actually don't field a football team. I'm sure you mean Texas A&M - Commerce.

Furman was looking for a game as well; be a heck of a lot better if either Wofford or Furman showed up instead of Western St. Couldn't that be arranged somehow?

Union College is NAIA. Not exactly a good get. I know it's kinda late to find someone but this is a team that SELA put on their schedule last year too and then pummeled.

my point was that, despite our recent success (with the exception of last year) we have scheduled poorly. Since 2002 the only 2 decent OOC teams we've scheduled were SC State (I don't think they were as good as they are now though) and the 2006 Coastal Carolina (which was a playoff team). other than that we schedule pretty soft.
