Yes he was. That was on par with any Bushism you will find. I guess Obama needs a teleprompter that sounds out the words as well, or better yet; let the teleprompter do the talking. Obama might end up sounding like Stephen Hawking, but he'll pronounce everything correctly.

I kind of see that too. Bush always tried to come off as "folksy", so it was okay when he screwed up. Obama tries to come off as being smart, so the standard is a little higher for him.
