Another NY Governor about to resign???

Post by danefan »

So Spitzer's replacement Patterson is apparently about to be forced to resign for some scandal.

http://www.myfoxny.com/dpp/news/politic ... terson-apx

I've been reading for a few days now about this impending NY Times article that will end Paterson's political career the same way it got started - a scandal.

I'm sure there are.

I don't think its the norm though to be caught more than once by a State Trooper in the electrical closet of the Governor's Mansion with a little chicky on her knees.

That's the rumors.

Happens to me all the time.
Though luckily I'll never be a politician.

Whats up with that shit? Youse guys tryin to steal Illinois' thunder or something? Hell we got enough politicians behind bars to have their own poker game - and that doesn't even count the one whose wife objected to him trying to pimp her out.

Where does he know where to shoot? Why go in a closet. If he gets caught he could always say, "I didn't know she was there, I thought it was my dog. You know, because if you put peanut butter on your nuts andhave your dog lick them off, it's not cheating. Because it's your dog."

That was a long way to go for a Road Trip reference but there's a NY connection and I did it.

Also, is it an added expense to have all legislation and information passed to him be printed in Braille? I mean, I wouldn't trust anyone to read it to me.

He's going to lose in the November election anyway. If the scandal does actually come to fruition, he should just tell everyone to go f themselves and hang out for the rest of his "term".

He was never elected and his political career is kaput after November anyway. Take that pay check and live it up for 10 months.

Looks like Paterson is following the right path IMO.

He's latest statement was that the only way he's going to leave the Governor's Mansion before his term is up is in a pine box.

That-a-boy Davie!

Now how about actually doing something while your the governor.

The NY TImes finally printed its expose.

Paterson didn't have a shot to be elected before, but now he might as well not even waste his time campaigning.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/02/19/nyreg ... on.html?hp

its not necessarily shocking, but it shows his complete lack of commitment to the job.
A review of several months of Mr. Paterson’s private schedules shows that his days were not long; he often arrived at his office in Manhattan or Albany after 10 a.m. and departed by 4:30 or 5 p.m.
You cannot run a State as large as NY with a 30 hour work week.
