I read nothing of this azz handing even in the ultra liberal Seattle Times. From what I read, while a bit snarky here and there, it was actually a good meeting. Sounded as if they should do it more often.Appaholic wrote:Great concept, but Palin used a teleprompter at her Republican convention speech....& Obama didn't use one while extemporaneously handing the Republican congressmen their a$$ on a platter a week ago at their own breakfast meeting....this is such a non-issue, but the Republicans keep bringing it up....usually in speeches posted on a teleprompter by their own speechwriter...

Re: Sarah Palin's Teleprompter
The amusing thing about the meeting was that several news networks covered it live, including Fox. For some reason Fox cut away from their coverage, perhaps because Obama wasn't being made to look the fool like Fox had hoped.SeattleGriz wrote:I read nothing of this azz handing even in the ultra liberal Seattle Times. That's not the way I heard it, App. The clips I heard featured one Obama tongue-tie after another.Appaholic wrote:Great concept, but Palin used a teleprompter at her Republican convention speech....& Obama didn't use one while extemporaneously handing the Republican congressmen their a$$ on a platter a week ago at their own breakfast meeting....this is such a non-issue, but the Republicans keep bringing it up....usually in speeches posted on a teleprompter by their own speechwriter...SuperHornet wrote:A couple of notes is NOT the same thing as an entire prepared speech on a teleprompter. Disagree...might want to watch clips other than one's provided by Fox...SuperHornet wrote:That's not the way I heard it, App. The clips I heard featured one Obama tongue-tie after another.Appaholic wrote:

Agree, but see how easy it is to run with a broad generalization not based upon fact but merely one's perception.....SeattleGriz wrote:I read nothing of this azz handing even in the ultra liberal Seattle Times. Do you think her teleprompter shorts out everytime she gets hot and sweaty?

It's actually a bit worse than that for me, App. I don't have cable, therefore I miss out on my beloved Megyn Kelly and Martha MacCallum. I picked up those Obama stutters off the CBS Evening News.
