The GRIZ get back into the race with a road sweep of UNC and NAU! In rather convincing fashion as well, scoring over 50 in the 2nd half of NAU game. Will Cherry and Anthony Johnson scored at will and took the NAU game over. They also combine for 8 steals.

Nice little 21-3 run there early in the second half to salt the game away. :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Griz are probably wishing they could have that ISU road trip back.... :ohno: :ohno:

With only four regular season games left, the Griz are probably REALLY wishing they hadn't let that New Year's Eve game against ISU get away from them. @ 9-3, they'd only be 1/2 game behind the Wildcats.

Griz have @ PSU, @ EWU, Sac State & MSU
Weber has NAU, UNC, ISU, @ EWU, @ PSU
UNC has @ ISU, @ WSU, EWU, PSU, @ Sac State

It appears that the battle is for second place in conference at this point. Even if UNC beats WSU (which they did earlier in the year), the Griz can't catch the Wildcats and that's really the only game left on Weber's schedule that's questionable at this point.

Looks like the battle for first is the game in Ogden on Saturday, if the Bears win, we're tied with Weber and hold the tiebreaker and our last three games all look like wins.

The Hornets needed a sweep this past weekend to stay alive. Mathematically we are still in it but the only winnable conference game left is vs NAU. It would be cool to see the Hornets pull an upset though.

Although ISU is struggling, UNC shouldnt overlook the Bengals. The Bengals are still a tough team to beat at thier place.

I agree with Wildcat Ryan about the ISU game, and especially because of the Bears past performance on Fri/Sat road trips. On their first two, they got blasted in the Friday night game, then came back and won the Saturday night game. WSU doesn't want to get swept by the Bears, and the fact they're at home, they'll be pumped and ready for this one. This could very well be a two loss road trip for the Bears. They've been starting really slow the last two or three games anyway, and they can't do that if they want to win both of these, or even take a split.
