Saudi Arabia quits OPEC

Post by grizzaholic »

"They took their ball and went home" so to say. I think this could be really good and or really bad. If they want to flood the market with oil the others, oil producing nations, will lower their prices in turn and it could be the greatest thing since sliced bread for everyone, especially the USA. On the other hand if they want to do their own thing and sell oil at their own price while the rest of the world says screw you, countries could dictate who and how much oil went to them based on the countries' affilation with others.

good for the rest of us. It's always a good thing when cartels begin to disintegrate.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.

Hmmmm...the article didn't outright say it quits. I'd be interested in the plans of Saudia Arabia(if in fact they quit the cartel).

They are busy learning to fly airliners, but not land them.

Funny, if they truly had quit, it would be all over the news. This and the fucking gas panic have me pissed off today!

Well there is always clubbing baby seals. If that doesn't make you happy nothing will.
