Obviously Canada is to blame for not allowing adequate practice time (they maliciously controlled the weather so that the conditions didnt' allow for practice)

White is ridiculously good. I just got to watch the preliminary runs for men's halfpipe (like 5 minutes ago) since NBC hates the west coast but even that run was disgusting.

Here's the link to the prediction from the Colorado professor that has the 95% accuracy rate over the last several olympics: http://www.forbes.com/2010/01/19/olympi ... storiesbox

These have not been updated based on actual results. These were his predictions before the olympics. It looks like he underestimated Germany and overestimated Norway, but might come pretty close with Canada and USA.

Norway was expected to do much better in the Nordic events than they have actually done. Pretty disappointing for them since the Nordic sports are their bread and butter.

Couple of rumors I heard from the half pipe, (no pun intended), is that after last night's performance, Shaun White is going to change his name to Shaun Grizo, and Gretchen Bleiler wants me to call her!??! :?

How ironic was it that the PA system at the half-pipe was blaring "Keep On Rocking In The Free World" as the Chinese participant was making preparations for her run?
