OK, Falkin's got to be clowning. I like to think I'm as big an Eagle fan as any, but this crap about the Griz reign being over is senseless. The Griz can win every BSC championship from here to eternity for all I care. In fact, I'm not even really concerned with a loss to the Griz or anyone else for that matter. Without a trip to the playoffs and a run at the title, not much else matters to me. Sure I'm cranked up about our new field, and Eagle football, but idle talk about who's at the top of the BSC won't help get it done in November and December.

I am totally aware that the refs hopped into a rental car but it just seemed fitting after the home cookin they delivered to the Griz. The call that had the most affect on the outcome of the game was the phantom late hit out of bounds call that led to a Griz TD. Without that call you most likely wouldn't have scored on that drive. Thats it! It is so funny how a little smack talk can get all of your panties in a bunch.

As far as I know, Robin Pflugrad was on the coaching staff @ UM when Don Read was the Head Coach; on two of the first current seventeen year FCS Playoff consecutive appearances. He dealing with the RBs, QBs & WR; essentially, nearly almost for what I know, the Offensive Coordinator when Dave Dickenson was the QB from when he was a freshman till he was a junior. In 1991 Pflugrad was made an Assistant Head coach and evidently held that position for four full years. I don't think there's going to be that much of a let down in the Griz offensive scheme of things. In fact, it may be better. Breske as the Defensive Coordinator; with the returning personnel; again, much better. At least in comparison to the last couple years. IMHO We ought to drop Western St. and schedule either Wofford or Furman, both teams are looking for an eleventh game, the last I hear; but I could easily be corrected by this time.
