I can get through most of your drivel, but when you start comparing people to the SS and say it's OK to kill them because they work for the federal government, you've taken off your last shred of decent clothing and exposed yourself for the complete kook that you are. Here's hoping you're visiting an IRS office trying to let them know why you tried to break the law and not pay taxes like the rest of us when the next nut job drives his plane into a federal building. If you have such a problem with US law, do us all a favor and move the **** out of the country.
If there were a country I could go to such that there was respect for the general concepts of minimal government and Liberty that characterized the onset of this nation, I would seriously consider going. But I know of no such country. So I am left to lament the extent to which this one has lost its way.

Otherwise, I did not make any statement pertaining to all Federal employees. I think that there are many Federal employees who are involved in efforts that I might or might not think are Constitutional but are also not oppressive in any case. The IRS is not like that. The IRS is an agent of intimidation and oppression that administers an extremely confusing and oppressive tax system. Many, many people who had no intention of breaking the law have run afoul of the IRS and the IRS is often ruthless in how it deals with such people. Intimidation and draconian penalty are within the modus operandi. The fact that it is a legal entity applying what is the law at this particular place and time does not absolve people who work for the IRS of their responsibility for facilitating the application of an immoral system. Such people do deserve comparision to the SS. There is a difference in degree. They're not shooting people in the back of the head on the roadside. But they are agents of oppression.

Not only did I not directly say I advocate killing IRS employees; I didn't say it at all. But it would be correct to say that I don't feel a whole lot of sympathy for an IRS employee who finds him or herself in such a situation. They took their 30 pieces of sliver. They've made a very nice living working for an agency that is constantly oppressing and intimidating people. Constantly pushing people into corners of desperation. Why should they be surprised if, at times, some of the people they harass into desperation snap and lash out? I have a lot more sympathy for the millions of citizens who are placed under extreme stress every year trying to comply with the ornerous tax law of this nation and sweating whether or not the IRS is going to find something wrong with what they did.

Or they may have chosen to not jump into political debates as newbie posters. I signed up for AGS in late 06', and didn't get involved in the poli wing until early 09'. Joined CS last summer, and didn't post much on the poli board until a month or so ago.
the ones I'm talking about joined and started posting immediately when there was no one (barely) to disagree with them on AGS. there's too much diversity over here. I doubt some of them have the stones

let's remember guys JSO thinks all cops are Gestapo-like agents who liked to kick cripple kids when they were little. Don't be surprised how he rationalizes (poorly) the slaughtering of people, he clearly likes making judgment calls about people he doesn't know as his previous posts show

I'm willing to bet he'd rationalize drug dealers killing police officers

I said, and continue to say, that it takes a certain type of person to be a cop. You have to be able to be reasonably comfortable...to be able to live with...pushing people around. You have to have an aspect of "bully" within you. That's just the truth, no matter how much you may wish to deny it.

As far as this IRS thing goes, I do not think it wise to respond to the tyranny represnted by the IRS as well as the system in administers through violence. The proper approach is to work to convince others to change the system through the political process and eliminate the IRS in that way if possible. There is no possibility of eliminating the tyrnanny of the IRS and the system it administers through things like crashing airplanes into buildings.

YT, you're way off base on this one. Who is here that wasn't at AGS and what makes you think this site is further to the Liberal side than AGS was? The Liberal owner of AGS was part of the reason for so many people coming here in the first place.

Funny, I find a way to pay my taxes, on-time, every year. Does that make me special, or better than these people that are placed under "extreme stress?" I don't like paying taxes, and am 100% against the income tax. However, this statement...
But it would be correct to say that I don't feel a whole lot of sympathy for an IRS employee who finds him or herself in such a situation.

...shows just how ridiculous you are. You're entitled to your opinion, have at it. But, like you mentioned above, you shouldn't be surprised when, at times, some of the posters here call you out for being a douche. :thumb: You see, the difference is, instead of murdering people over paying taxes--I would work to change them. Unlike this murderer, who apparently, you have sympathy for. :ohno:

RIP Vernon Hunter, the victim in this senseless tragedy. Mr. Hunter, 68, was a 20 year veteran of the US Army, having served two tours in Vietnam.

But like JSO said, he worked for the IRS, so he deserved it.

I'm well aware, but people joined after that who were Limbaugh-esque conservative and don't have the balls to come over here and seriously debate
