Wow. That setup sucks! What's the deal with the part at the bottom...."due to these school's excellent admission standards and embodiment of the ideals of the Southern Conference, supporters of these institutions have been granted lenient seating access." That's nothing short of a slap in the face to Appalachian, UTC, WCU, Charleston, and The Citadel. The SoCon can kiss my ass.

Parody, sarcasm....just giving the conference office a little jab because of the perceived favortism shown to the small privates in the SmallCon. Such as Davidson getting to move their possible Saturday contest in order for their fans to see both Steph Curry's visit to Charlotte and the DC cats second round game.

And post on your school's website that you've won the SC championship before you get poleaxed by the actual champion. No thanks, we'll stay as we are. :thumb:

And saying Davidson's Elite 8 run was a much bigger deal than App State's 3 National Championships AND the Michigan upset. Not to mention the pressers for Davidson and the lack thereof for App.

And when 3 public schools left the SoCon (ETSU, Marshall, VMI), replacing them with 3 private schools (Wofford, Elon, Samford).

Not to mention after signing a 3-year deal with Chattanooga to hold the SoCon basketball championship there, doing everything they could to break that deal and move it to Charlotte to kiss the ring of their sugar daddy at Davidson.

And publicly praising the academics of schools "such as Samford and Davidson".

It could have something to do with the SoCon leadership having strong ties to Davidson, Furman and Wofford.

I was being sarcastic. However, I will say that there are some great "academics" at Elon, I saw them myself. ;-)

Now that's just good comedy right there. Where are the CAA guys piling in to say they knew it all along?
