ESPN suspends Tony Kornheiser

Post by BlueHen86 »

http://msn.foxsports.com/nascar/story/e ... ?GT1=39002

From the article:

ESPN has suspended host Tony Kornheiser from his television talk show "Pardon the Interruption" for two weeks for comments he made on the radio last week about SportsCenter anchor Hannah Storm's clothing.

"Hannah Storm in a horrifying, horrifying outfit today," Kornheiser said. "She’s got on red go-go boots and a catholic school plaid skirt … way too short for somebody in her 40s or maybe early 50s by now.

"She’s got on her typically very, very tight shirt. She looks like she has sausage casing wrapping around her upper body … I know she’s very good, and I’m not supposed to be critical of ESPN people, so I won’t … but Hannah Storm … come on now! Stop! What are you doing?" ...

Kornheiser has since apologized to Hannah Storm.

Tiger Woods also apologized to Hannah for not having slept with her. :D

Yeah - she looks ridiculous in that outfit (I'd still hit it of course though) but Kornheiser isn't there to talk about what women on ESPN are wearing. He's there to talk about sports. He must have run out of sports-related issues to talk about..............again.

I met Hannah Storm at a tennis tournament in Del Mar that she was covering for NBC. (I'm surprised I was even functional to ask for a picture given how ga-ga I was over the presence of the Goddess of Tennis, Jennifer Capriati. I just about fainted dead away when Jenny merely said "Hi" to me on her way to practice before her match vs. Anke Huber.) Hannah was one of the nicest people ever. The fact that she's still hot is no excuse for Kornheiser to run smack about her. One just does NOT do that, ESPECIALLY the "target" is essentially a teammate. I know some girls who would have gone over to his set and delivered an Ensiguri, but I don't believe that Hannah is one of those....

Kornheiser was dumb to say something like this on air, but ESPN has been dressing up their female anchors, especially on the weekend, to show as much skin as reasonable lately. The women doing the Sunday morning shows look like they are dressed for clubbing - granted, not that there's anything wrong with that, but Kornheiser was closer to the truth than not. Just not the right place to say that.

he was on his radio show, his radio show isn't strictly sports and I don't think it was out of line either. Hannah Storm constantly looks like she is 5 steps from the corner and he said it. ESPN only protects certain people i guess :?

Damn, out of that too. Can I just put regular sugar in a ziploc and hit it with a hammer? Not my ballsack, the sugar.

Sure. Add a little bit of cayenne pepper though to help break it up.

Too late. I've already got the sugar on by sack. Feels pretty good actually.
