APP STATE CHOKES IT BAD!!!!

Man unbeliveable game first of all but still...APP STATE BELW A 21-0 halftime lead!! I can honestly say after reading this and the poor sportsmanship from app state fans on the espn converastion for the game...its over App State, time to go back to hillbilly central. I say App State is not going to repeat this year, they have a hard conference schedual remaining and pretty much i see at least 2 losses coming from it. Sorry App State or crybaby central, your reign is over.

I'm not sure I'm prepared to kick Appy to the curb on the basis of one blown game. While I do believe that Montana will win the title, to completely factor Appy out of the equation this freaking early is irresponsible in the extreme.

I have to disagree. JMU is a quality team which was playing at home. They also had been thinking about this game since after the playoffs last year. While I am surprised to see Edwards and Co. squander that kind of lead it could easily motivate them the rest of the year.

Yes....you are correct....we suck and all teams should look past us as we are obviously out of our element in FCS.....we should move down to D2......I repeat, AppSt sucks this year and all potential playoff foes should prepare accordingly.....

BTW, with only 5 posts, I imagine you've been waiting a while to post this.....probably about 3 years.....

Yeah, it is game over for us. We will not repeat...again...for our 4th National Championship. We choke under high pressure situations when it matters most. We choked against JMU and we got sent home.....wait a minute. This is the regular season. It was Montana and JMU who did the real choking last year and got sent home from the playoffs. This was ASU's first regular game. JMU just got done with a game where they had to battle and fight. APP did not have that until this week. I think ASU will be just fine.

No three time defending champ has gone on to win the championship after blowing a 21 point halftime lead during a regular season game.
