Well, some moving and shaking tonight. UTC gets a huge win to move ahead in the North race out of the cellar, Georgia Southern wins its first road game of the year in a fight to avoid the South cellar and App clinches its 3rd North Division Title in 4 years. Officially, App is the North #1 seed and WCU the North #2 seed.
Davidson squeaks one out versus UNCG tonight to put them that much closer to the South #3 seed.
Thursday is a big night. Charleston @ Wofford with the regular season title on the line. If CofC wins, they get the NIT autobid as they would have swept Wofford thus have the tiebreaker even if they lose on Saturday. If Wofford wins, they would get it due to their tiebreaker over The Citadel or Davidson.
Big last weekend. Samford and Chattanooga take a hike up the mountains to face WCU and ASU, Charleston and The Citadel go through the Upstate to Furman and Wofford, Elon travel to Georgia Southern then host Davidson, then UNCG hosts Georgia Southern on Monday in a possible battle of the bottom.

Wofford vs CofC decides the Southern conference regular season champion this Thursday and will be on CSS

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT! WE'RE GONNA SHOUT IT! NOTHING'S HOTTER THAN A-S-U!
I was checking scores this morning and realized that both of my teams have a decent shot at 20 win seasons in spite of both being very inconsistent teams. Just might have to head up to Charlotte to check out the weekend session of the SoCon tourney.

Those are my plans (hopefully) next weekend.
No doubt, already planning for Saturday. GO APPS!

I would have not thought at the beginning of the season ASU and WoCo would win the divisions. Not a bad season so far right now, black and gold rules the SoCon.

Giving everyone a heads up as this will be everywhere in the coming days.
Elon was up 96-93 in double OT with 14 seconds left after two FT's. Davidson ran up the court, McKillop hit a 3 with 3 seconds left. Elon then in bounded, but Rossiter knocked it away, grabbed it, turned and shot from the corner as he was falling out of bounds. Swish, game over, Davidson wins 99-96.
And in those 3 seconds, Elon was knocked from a North #3 seed to North #6 seed.

I was going to the Saturday game but now everybody is saying "we'll just go if we make it to the championship."
I'm trying to talk them into at least semifinal.

I'm hoping to be there, my buddy is getting married in a few months and being a groomsman, I'm going to their "engagement party." I don't understand engagement parties, we didn't have one, oh well. I'm hoping to skip out early (it starts at 6) and make it to part of the game. The SoCon really screwed me in switching the game time for its precious little Steph Curry.

I think you have my number - give me a call if you get away early.
