You think asking if a C-USA team going to play at an established FCS school next season is a legitimate question?

FYI, it's not.

Please enlighten me the last time that happened.

Nevertheless, no KIDD, we don't have any plans for UH to come to San Marcos anytime soon that I am aware of. Glad to see more UTSA fans making their way here. Welcome!

Why not play a C-USA team at San Marcos. Some years back SA had a football team called the Riders and played our home games at Bobcat Stadium. There were temporary bleachers added to one end zone about 15 to 20 rows each. That along with standing room only there was a little over 20k. So yes there is a way to get a C-USA team into San Marcos. There are some C-USA teams that do not come close to 20K for home games.
KIDD,
Many FBS conferences will not go to an FCS stadium...they just don't. C-USA is one, as is the Big XII. I can't vouch for others. (Not vouching here, just what I've learned)

Homework time for THE KIDD. (How appropriate, jk!)

Go look up the last time a C-USA team traveled to a FCS school and get back to me, k?

A Mid-American Conference school is traveling to an established FCS. The C-USA has rules against travel to an FCS, but UTSA is new to football, so what would they know? It's sort of like some of the bonehead remarks on BFs.com when you guys were trying to qualify for your first-ever playoff appearance! ;)
CatMom wrote:TT, it is you and other UTSA fans that are promulgating the idea that we are all in a tizzy over UTSA. I could give a rat's ass what UTSA does. I'm interested in what TXST does...PERIOD! It doesn't mean I don't engage in "intelligent" converstion on what other SLC teams do (ok, so sometimes it a bit of fun) But, at the end of the day I'm only concerned about the Bobcats.
Well, you are obviously not too concerned about TXST.

It is probably in your best interests to keep tabs on the other schools in the region who are looking at moving FBS as it could have a clear and direct impact on your school's desire to move up. It's why we at SHSU are monitoring the transgressions of UTSA and TXST, as well as any whispers (though faint) at Lamar.

LOL, TT.

Way to change the subject.

Way to backhandedly insult TXST fans.

You are a piece of work. :ohno:

According to our press release we've had at least 6 home games for the past 6 years.

I am hoping that Cal Poly is a home and home. Would love to see the Bobcats in SLO in 2011.

EXCEPT...Southern Utah. This game reminds me of when I use to play video games as a younger kid. Good ol' reset button.

Just keep playing them til you beat them I guess. :ohno:
